Yeah basically my gf was like "you're totally spending this weekend with me since it's my last really free one" and I was like "i'm kinda busy saturday" and she's like "oh what are you doing" and i'm like "um... playing sc2 with some dudes I met on the internet" and she's like "that's cool, we can still hang out at your place while you do that right" and I was like "well i'm actually driving to berkeley and am gonna be there until midnight" and she was like "wat" and it sort of went downhill from there...

Ok so the things for tomorrow look like this. The expected schedule is still posted in the main op. Check-in and signups for tournament begin at 12:45 PM but the latest you can come is 2:00 PM, which is when brackets are generated.

Brackets will be generated into probably 8 groups of 5 (considering we get about 40ish players), seeded by ladder division, and the top two of each group advance to the bracket stages (ro16). Each game is a bo1 in the pool play, ensuring at least four matches total.

MLG Testbug
MLG Shakuras Plateau

If players cannot agree on a map, vetoing will take place until a final map is chosen. Loser chooses the next map to play on.

This is what the map pool is looking like right now, give me suggestions if you think it can be improved. I put the iCCup map in there because I feel it looks interesting and would be a cool map for people who might want to play it, but it will probably be vetoed most of the time anyway ^^

Right, the tourney doesn't officially start until 2. Signups begin at 12:45 though so any time between then is fine. The earlier you come the better chance you have at nabbing a better computer ^^
