sorry guys about no last update last night felt really sick and went to bed around 7:00

So I live about 10 minutes from this place apparently according to map-quest. Would be pretty easy to just come home from UGA and go to this on the weekend

Might not have access to a car though.

I'll try and see if I can go, but might need a ride. (Could do something like pay $10 in exchange for a ride if I can't get car, for a ride there and back).

How many people are currently signed up? I might be able to attend!

I know this is a silly question it being a lan and all,but would there be any chance of there being an extra computer to use? I will be around Gwinnett at the time of the event,but i won't have my computer with me. I have a spare mouse and keyboard i could bring,but the computer kinda has to stay where it's at at the moment. I'm a pretty low level player but would love to come and play and meet the community. Also you say 32 people max. Is that players or people in general. I would most likely have my girlfriend with me and i would hate to have to leave her in the car

I have concerns similar to the post above. Would love to attend but have quelms about moving my full setup for a half-day event. Wouldnt mind schooling some peeps at MTG in between rounds though.

If you a computer you can bring please do, and if you have an extra PC that can run Starcraft please let me know. Some people can come, but can not bring there PC, and if starcraft 2 Runs on your laptop please bring that also. So when you email me to sign up tell me how many computers or screens or keyboards or mice you can bring so I can start making the list and so I can see what we still need.

This one is only a $5 fee because it is the first. After this the next one will go up to $15 and 64 people hopefuly. I am not making money. All extra money not in prize pool will be used to buy: Screens, Computers, Mice, Keyboards, and Laptops. Any thing that can run the game on 1 v 1 low with out lag.

Also if you can donate any of those things please do. By then end of this year my goal is to have 32 systems. But for now I really need you help to make this all happen.

Also I build Computers So if you just have parts around that you could donate please do anything ddr2 or ddr3 motherboards or ram. Pata or Sata hard drives any size. 250w power supplies and up.
Any DVD drives. and any dual core cpus, and any Gpus. I just need to build to run low settings.

I will not sell anything donated, I will only make computers for lan parties, and I will also use them to help other local Esports events. Any thing donated that I can not use will be given to charity.

Also 32 people can enter please dont bring more than one person who is not signed up. as room will be an issue. Someone asked about if they could bring there girl friend I have no problem with that=)

Agreed. But I still have to lug stuff... 18.4" Laptop, cooling pad, USB hub, mouse, headset... Still better than a tower ^^

I'm really excited man. Not going to lie this is my first real lan,well you know outside of someones basement. What exactly are you looking for in the facebook/myspace or whatever? I would like to help in anyway,make this go as smoothly as possible for you so maybe it becomes a regular thing.

I cant find record of anything like this... So this looks like the largest Starcraft or Starcraft2 event ever anywhere close to Atlanta .... I hope I am wrong and Starcraft is more alive here than that!!
