Everyone should watch that episode. Doesn't even matter if you don't like Doctor Who.

Secondly, do mods/admin prefer to be treated like normal posters, or would they prefer for people to talk more safely around/with them as a sign of deference?

Normal poster, at least for me.

But if you ever meet an admin in real life, bow deeply and avoid eye contact at all costs.

Quite possible that this has been asked already, but what's your favorite book (or books) of all time?

I stopped reading proper books after my last year of HS. And only then it was because I was forced to for English. With that said, we were reading towards a research essay and I came up with the topic "the submissive role of women in literature" which was actually pretty fun. I was up to my 4th text and kinda ran out of ideas (we had to do 5, and I knew my last one would be a movie) and so I asked my friend what I should read - he suggested a book called Narcissus and Goldmund by Herman Hesse (and lol'd at all the subtle Nazism influences like how everyone was blond and blue eyed etc). Turns out the book was amazing and I don't think I've ever been moved by a piece of literature so much, ever (I did read a crap ton before I was 14 but then I started SC again). So yeah, Narcissus and Goldmund final answer.

This makes me really happy. For one, I didn't think you came around here anymore Plexa, it's really good to see you. Second, Hesse is one of my favorite writers, and that book is one of his best. Really glad to hear you enjoyed it.
Yeah I went away for a bit, and now I'm somewhat back. Maybe one day I'll reveal why, but I dont think I will at the moment.

I saw 3 or 4 episodes of Doctor Who when I was younger but didn't know anything about it and saw episodes in the middle of seasons so just got confused, but after seeing that clip I had to go watch that episode (I since my first time watching it have learned enough about Doctor Who to at least understand the narrative) it was extremely good, I'm just impressed at how scared they could make me of a group of statues. *shivers*

It's checked every month, just not at the beginning of the month. Wait until the 8th or so.

Also, happy birthday!

What does it take to your whole posting history nuked? I mean I've seen people get banned for pretty bad things so how far do you have to go to get every post you've ever made deleted?

I think you misunderstand what I mean. The mods generally do the name changes around the 7th or 8th of the new month, not the 31st of the previous or the 1st of the new. This is totally normal. You just gotta wait a bit. Hot_Bid will post in the thread with the name changes when it's time.

Usually, nukes are handed out for adbots, malicious users (virus links and the like), and other unsavory people who the mods never want to see a trace of again. However, a couple of nuked users confuse me. For example, Wasabi has about 3.3k posts, and was nuked. I don't have any idea why.

Yeah I'm wondering about something similar, at the beginning of the name change topic there are a few posts by a nuked user GoSexyPerli who had 1.1k posts, I looked a bit and based on people's reactions to him he seemed to be a bad poster in general but I'm wondering what it takes to get a mod to wipe out a thousand posts.

It reminds me of when Blizz showed the actual matchmaking equation at I think Blizzcon 2010, but I'm sure they're not the same because the Blizz equation was like 4 times as long and even more complicated.

Dunno. It's Plexa's, and I just pulled it from the news announcement about the coins. I can't say anything more than "this is what was announced".

If Teamliquid would have a theme song, that represented the team as whole, what would it be? Of course everyone of you might not agree with each other.
