Well one possible solution to the TTC not opening until 6 am is to just have everyone there before the TTC closes at 1 am and just hold a 'lan' party until the finals starts. Either that or people can just sleep in a corner of the lecture hall for 5 hours until the finals start.

LOL... i could host a same thing for FREE in Uwaterloo lecture hall... the screen might be smaller but it is good enough

... if you wish to see how big it is, search for UWaterloo MSL meet up or OSL meet up...

To be clear, if I host in a lecture hall it will be free, however "I think" there is something about watching the finals in a movie theater that makes it worth paying. That said I've got a friend looking into the lecture halls at ryerson and hopefully someone from a bit back in the thread looking into some rooms at U of T. If things go really well and we can get over a 100 people I may very well have a "pay what you want" sort of thing at a theater. Anyway there's still a lot of work to be done over this.

I would definitely pay 15$ max for a event like this only if

- Good seating
- Good screen to watch this on
- Food
- Some sort of host or something to keep us entertained until the games start

GL with the event, I would love to go but I don't live in Toronto.

Yes, $10. I don't know if Bloor Cinema would rent out their theatre considering it's at 6AM, but it's worth asking. They did host multiple Pure Pwnage premieres.

I live in Toronto but I would'nt really want to get down there by 6am Its a nice idea for people in the general area but I would rather stay at home and watch in my boxers.

It sounds like a really fun idea to watch in person with tons of other fans.

I would be worried about the resolution on the live stream though. Even the HQ stream is blurry on my 22 inch comp monitor. The VODs are much better but obviously not an option.

I would certainly go if Koreans did not have their games so early in our time. Really great Idea. But I bet it will be hard for people to actually show up. Do you know what I mean people wake up and feel really tired and just cancel on you. I don't know if there's going to be a way to reassure that these people are actually going to come.
