In any case, on a positive note, I am once again enlighten and impressed by the power of this TL Community that I only came to know a year and half ago. I witnessed it myself on NYC Lan but I really do hope our community will become stronger after this mishap and grow together where we can all succeed and prosper! ALL HAIL TEAMLIQUID! | ||

Mod Edit: Please don't post pictures. suspect is known to carry a fork at events, in case of noob-cannibal acts. There has been no recorded incident as of yet, because suspect has not found an opponent he could beat. | ||

I Really don't blame the other 3 for leaving because I would no want to be left that far away from home, we all know that the only person who can say anything when carpooling is the driver. If he decides to leave someone behind then he is an asshole and deserves to be banned. The other 3 really deserve something, but not a permanent ban. Really the only thing they deserved to get blamed for is not paying for dinner, which is dick, but not enough for a lifetime ban. But! This is only my 2 cents and my opinion what happed happed and cannot be changed. | ||

It's not just what they did, but also that they blamed it on Dejavu for being a dick. Really? You say someone being a dick is an excuse to strand them far away from home and not pay fees? Im speechless | ||

They were the ones who organized the LAN, with hopes of getting sponsored. After it was clear none of them were going to get any prize money they skipped out on paying for the LAN, for the dinner afterwards, and on top of that the organizer-in-chief pocketed $20 from the prize pool. Is this someone you want to be running tournaments in the future? Fuck no. As for other perspectives, let me give you mine - after the LAN, these kids did NOT look very happy; in fact they were pretty pissed off. If Loudog was REALLY concerned about bus money after getting dropped off, maybe he would have said something along those lines instead of "I don't want to fucking pay $20 to eat shit." If money to get home was really a concern, we would have covered him, end of story. The money for the LAN center couldn't be squared away at the beginning because that's the way the LAN center works - you pay out when you leave by computer number and name. Semih and Loudog left early, and left the responsibility of paying to someone else; when Semih was asked by duckett AT DINNER he lied about his name; Loudog never even bothered to give his. That little bit of confusion was soon cleared up, and they ended up paying Suppy $8 each, since the LAN was so kind to drop the price off of one. Maybe if he asked for $16 each he would have gotten $16 each. Quite frankly I think I'd be pretty bummed out if I drove 400 miles out to lose in a tournament of my own organization and spend ~$40 per person, not including gas money and several hours driving. At the same time I don't think I would have chosen such a course of action myself unless I was aware that I could lose, especially since it seemed like they took for granted that they'd win back all their money given how angry they were. But, this honestly isn't about getting rid of a bunch of angry nerds who wouldn't pay. Nerdrage happens. This is about respect and responsibility, and the fact that actions have consequences. We're not in a position to say their actions were justified/not in their minds, because I'm sure we can sit here and argue about whether or not their actions were justifiable or understandable. We ARE in a position to say what kind of shit doesn't fly around at TL and in the SC community at large. Behavior like this shouldn't be tolerated. EDIT: And to say NOTHING about Deja's situation. | ||

So I talked with the manager of Soul Pc World. I let them know about the situation and how it wasn't an accident. They have been Perma banned from the center (not that they would go back) But a police report will be filed as well. | ||

TADmilf tried to orgo a tournament for his friend semih to win, thats why he insisted on an entry fee and sponsor for 1st. when semih choked and lost all of them got pissed and took it out on everyone else maybe practice harder next time bros | ||
