i think there was like 18-20 users in phase 1?? and hardly any posts in the forum.. i was going to buy a vbulletin forum license and start up a community but was also scared to spend so much money and time and not getting anywhere after seeing nothing happen with sc2.net.au btw i think a community based site is better (like TL), rather than whats on sc2.net.au - describing the game.. and i think although TL doesnt use vbulletin or anything its much more user friendly and could even add portals and the likes for rankings etc (maybe this could be easier than just coding everything ourselves) im happy to help out organise some comps, admin the forums, graphics, writeups, or help out with payments if needed - would be great to see a huge aussie sc2 community site/forum | ||

I think many people are really excited to see a big, active Australian sc2 community. We've actually finished initial planning and now work on the site has more or less started. Once some basic forums are up we'll invite the people who are interested to discuss and refine the plans and perhaps assign some roles. | ||

This project is going ahead as Del/Duck/Bostic have said - keep an eye out for more information in the next few weeks. I am still in need of a designer, graphic designer or anything similar who can help keep the site looking pretty. Even if you can only spare a few hours PM me here. Also anyone else looking to help PM me here, preferably looking for people who can help develop or design the site - we'll gather staff for the site closer to release. Cheers | ||

I used to be an writer for gamereplays when i got into competitive RTS via the CNC scene, but I feel these days that writing is largely overshadowed by video content of any kind. Also being on the committee for the gaming club at Melbourne Uni, I've organised a tournament for every week of the semester, one of which will be SC2, I wish they all were, but apparently people play other games  . I hope I can really help out the aussie scene, and I know for sure I'll be doing all I can in Melbourne.Long Live the Scene! | ||
