Then, without knowing anything about ICCUP, I tried to make a comparison: I said that in every e-sport I've ever played, I've only ever been "A-" at best, there was always this upper echelon of skill I could never crack. I (stupidly) assumed the letters were like on other games, like DDR, which scale more like grades in school. But no. Much to my chagrin, everybody laughed at me (especially Chill) and explained that ICCUP ranks go on a logarithmic curve. I was trying to say that I had always been stuck in the top 80-90%, but by using ICCUP terminology, I had essentially claimed to be in the 99th percentile. My ignorance made it all the way into the "Funny quotes from TL's IRC thread." It was not a good day :[ | ||

Also, I tell stories about how fucked up I am and I get perma-banned by frozenarbiter. Great. I am just an innocent. It is me, Scorpion. I am not a bad person, honestly, but, I can say I was a HORRIBLE child to be around with.
