Sure there's situations where they aren't optimal, but nobody's talking about pro games. If your random pub enemies can execute a good aggro tri you're probably screwed regardless.

Axe should rarely ever jungle, he has so much potential to raise hell on the offlane especially with someone else to back him up. You might farm slower but their carry would farm way slower

Yeah but he can also farm up a level advantage and then wander over to the offlane later and absolutely destroy it in an overlevelled 2v2, provided the solo did okay.
I do prefer to see him in lane, but I'm not going to complain if one goes jungle. Unless he afks to vanguard+blink while the enemy am gets bf manta, of course. That does happen a lot.

Game 1 today, I random brood. Offlane, nice. Then we get both an engima and an enchantress pick. Both go into the jungle. Leaving slark solo safe, while we get a mid puck. Puck dies solo to viper for first blood, and proceeds to go 1-8. Slark being solo, gets nothing accomplished. Enigma gets blink first, and never lands a bh due to a silencer on the other team and goes 0-6.
Game 2 today, I random magnus. Usually that would call for mid. Someone picks OD after I'm in the game. Welp okay, I'm offlane I suppose. BH pick. Sigh. Trilane support magnus it is with rubick and AM. Their offlane is bristle pudge. Pudge walks up to AM, turns on rot. AM dies. He went mana break first. T.T

wtf matchingmaking is so broken. Had an alch who farmed radiance, treads, Shadowblade, midas, by 22 mins. Nobody else in the game was even fucking close to his level or farm.

I'm not completely convinced Doom is better in a lane than jungling.
A week or so ago I had a game where a Bloodseeker claimed jungle over a Lycan and honestly said "you're not jungle hero". I was stunned. Thankfully we were against idiots in lane who let wolves bite them all day while I lifted them backwards as Rubick.

if you want to jungle doom you probably need a bottle, if you straight up rush a midas (what a lot of jungle dooms do) you will get low a lot in the jungle and you are an easy free kill for anything that roams, i also wouldn't jungle axe anymore because he also has problems keeping his health high. Arguably doom can go for tranquils and go without a bottle, but if you do that you have tranqs on doom and you have to pray to rngesus that you get a wildkin after stacking a couple times so you can actually use the tranqs to heal.
Instead all these concerns you could just sit in a lane and have a good game.

Doom jungle works as long as your team is semi-competent and knows how to play defensivly. I had great games as jungle Doom where you just walk out of the jungle at Lvl 6 and get 1st Blood cause team focused on lane control and didn't want to be Heroes. But then again thats probably true for all junglers.
Anyway, best way to play Doom IMO is to get in and out of lane and jungle depending on the game flow.

I love to see a doom jungle in the opponent team.
I usually just walk into their jungle at about 3 min in and kill him because he is under 25% HP.
If I'm veno I take the opportunity to block all camps with wards in trees.
Same with Lycan and a lot of junglers who need to tank the creeps. And even against the ones who don't need to (enigma, furion) it is easy to take then out of the jungle and block everything with wards/veno wards/ body block/ ilu block, whatever.

I seriously hate this game.
2 people who queued together call bot.. Spirit Breaker wants to play bot too. I agree, annoying, but it's SB, Jugg and Jakiro.. they could get some kills. Instead they say "feed" and start feeding. I get so fucking angry. Everyone on the team stops defending. I click around the base a bit, venting in chat.. definitely not AFKing while we wait for the other team to push in mid and end it. Then I get an abandon... seriously, fuck you Valve and your dumb fucking game systems. If the game needs any kind of automatic system, it's a system that detects intentional feeding and makes the game safe to leave.
Also, they need to re-implement solo queue. When 2-3 people play together, it almost always goes to shit. It's usually one guy who's played a bit, and the other guy has absolutely no clue about anything.

we won but so much cancer in a single game was too much for me,

When your captain in CD bans riki first you know you're in for a bad time, turns out he picked tide/gyro/bat/void/chen. Got to trilane with void/tide against lifestealer/CM/ogre, as you would expect we got wrecked
