My QQ is that I haven't played in like a week because my internet in my new flat is fucking awful, and at some point every evening I suddenly get massive ping and packet loss (record is 75%). After a while I just started abandoning as soon as it started, as there's no way to predict it, and no way to tell if it'll let up in 1 minute or in 4 hours. Once it got to the point where I ended up doing that twice in one evening (in games that were starting really well) I just said fuck it I'm not playing until this shit is fixed. I've explained the problem to the guy in charge of the account and he says he's contacted them about it but there doesn't seem to be anything actually getting done. I would be less frustrated if I hadn't made a single stipulation in the moving ad that I wanted good internet because I play games, and hadn't received a guarantee that the net in the flat was good (turns out the guys don't use it for anything more than checking their emails and streaming shit quality TV rips so they wouldn't ever have known). | ||

My friend and I were both 1800+ in HON yet we regularly get people like this on our team. I'm fairly certain theres no proper ladder system as the quality of games never improves. Even when they had the tier system you could get people who knew almost nothing about DotA in "Very High" games all the time. | ||

I'll get to the gist of it - fuck self entitled cunts that think the universe surrounds around them. At some point I decided that I needed all 6 slots, bought two sets of wards, sentries and dust and put it on the courier. Said so. Pinged. Talked. Told people to pick it up constantly, etc etc etc. NOTHING. it's not as if they didn't communicate iether, they were talking plenty. Just...ignoring my pleas to take stuff off of the courier. But really, it's my fault for picking ES - whenever I pick the hero I end up with retarded teammates. I can't remember the last time I've won with a teammate Sniper either funny tidbit from the game: Kunkka tried to gank Ursa and got him really low (50~ hp), but couldn't close the distance and do the last hit. He died diving after him and then started mass pinging NP and typing in allchat how trash Furion was and letting out "cykas" in a frantic pace. Asked him why he didn't just use "x mark the spot", no response. He didn't use X mark the spot even once in a 50 minutes long game. But it's ok since he has his teammates to blame, he played that perfectly | ||

My lanemate was a Windrunner who thought that 1 courier was not enough, so she decided to get a second. She also seemed to be a part of of the group of people that firmly believe in autoattacking from minute one. Meanwhile our mid Pudge and top Maiden were having a relentless competition on who could rack up those deaths faster, in the end Pudge took it home with a close 15-14. | ||

I queue, fully expecting a lot of carries, I see a sniper, bat, wisp, and puck. Puck repicks Nyx for some reason. So, I figure we can trilane top with wisp/nyx so I grab venge for that. Ping wildly, get nyx to come top tentatively. Trilane snags three kills, then I tell them to push. No response. Ping frantically, no one comes. Try to get BR to initiate? Nothing. So, their KOTL just kills us and abadonn makes sure no one dies. And then Nyx disconnects. You can guess how it went from their. Wisp was decent enough, talked in ALL CAPS, but talked at all. Sniper and bat never said a word, and Nyx DC'd, for whatever reason. Sniper got a MoM and by that point it was game over. I decided to add Spanish to my language preferences, simply to hope I get teammates who actually talk or cooperate, hope it works, I can't take more of these people who just want to play one man dota. | ||
