Why do people even spam chat for commends, its not even like LoL where u get a little ribbon for it. Literally the only time it'll ever come up is if someone looks at ur profile for whatever reason and they still won't give a shit. | ||

Same with reports. People actually think "hah, that fucker got a report of mine, that will teach him!". If I've got a report every time someone said they'd report me I'd probably have 100 or more. And I've still yet to see LPQ. Save for over the top unsults, racial slurs or similar and maybe intentional feeding reports wont do anything (go brown boots -> dagon5 on AM every game and it wont cause you any trouble), yet people seem to care a whole lot about them. Except they often desperately seem to not want them as opposed to commends. | ||

Also a safelane huskar that goes boots -> satanic. Also steam dropped our whole team except huskar, and apparently huskar wouldn't let the other guys pause. There goes every outer tower... | ||

You shouldn't have to ask for a commendation if you really deserve it. It reminds me of all the annoying assholes on social media that spam out "Please like my page ". All these kids think that just because they went 22-3 in kills, that despite them being selfish assholes and never helping the team, they should somehow get a commendation. I prefer to anonymously commend people that display selfless criteria , and never ask for it. | ||

Captain's Draft. We end up with Lycan, Mirana, SD, Lina and QOP. The Captain's idea is to trilane up top with Lycan/Lina/SD and QOP mid Mirana solo offlane. I grab the Mirana and buy and skill for a solo offlane start. Immediately SD and Lina are confused about where to go. SD insisting we should aggressive trilane instead and go for kills. Much faffing about and lycan yelling at them both calling them idiots puts us behind. In the end we end up with SD going top and screwing over Lycan and Lina staying bottom a while to autoattack and compete for last hits before dying twice to Naga/Medusa and then finally going away; we rapidly lose the top tower as a result of all of this. Ok you know what? Whatever. I don't care, this is still winnable. Can we get ganks? No thats not happening because they start to 5-man permanently and their teamfight is Naga ult/Medusa ult/Tidehunter ravage with Razor linking up on Lycan and AoEing to hell and Venge just in there hammering away at everyone (she got pretty fed). Against that lineup we are NOT going to be able to take a teamfight most of the time. And we can't really gank. But we have a Lycan and a Mirana. Ratdota, alright? It came SO CLOSE as well. QoP, Lina and SD would just insist on engaging for no reason all the time. Literally all they had to do was delay as best they could and immediately disengage from any attempt of the opponent to actually take a fight. And it worked for a while too. At one point their team was pushing onto a tower and me and Lycan just rushed down a lane and took two towers in return and damaged the T3 before we had to disengage. But they couldn't keep it up, they didn't have the patience and eventually they'd bullrush in head first and get themselves wiped letting the opponents freely take whatever objective they were after and then TP back to prevent the split-push. We actually got a rax and two T3 towers from ratting it out but it just wasn't enough and after one particularly bad failed teamfight they just double raxed us and from there it became all but impossible. :-\ Massive disappointment. We had a real shot there; despite lycan insisting that we didn't. Fun game but sad ending.  | ||

We had done a really good comeback, only to see our hard work getting thrown away by what I would asume being our SF having a stroke (he played really good leading up to the very end). | ||

People that go "COMMEND ME" because they carried a game are a joke though, and sometimes I don't commend them even though I was going to purely because they go "COMMEND PLZ" | ||

I think commending isn't on the top of people minds during and immediately following games, so when someone brings it up I can imagine it results in a higher chance of getting commended. | ||

Also the wins, you play with bot, you get a win so screw wins too.  Now my new motivation is keeping my Razor with 0 lost games. The sad part is I have anxiety using him but I always roll random in AP games 95% of the time in solo queuing because real men random as my friend advocates lol - just make sure u do it at the very start. | ||

Last game I lost with him was because our spectre kept ulting and going on heroes across the map solo with no tp scroll, so even if they did kill the hero they tried to gank (which was probably 10% of the time) they just died anyways. I had no faith in our Brewmaster carry because he kept trying to solo towers and would not leave when the enemies would TP in. Also general qq - when people pick really annoying lineups and then talk shit the whole game about how bad you are. My team: Crystal Maiden, Timbersaw, kotl, Slark, Necrolyte Other team: Huskar, Spirit Breaker, Omni, Warlock, Wisp... The worst part was that Huskar and SB randomed like...Spectre and Shadow Shaman, waited until the timer counted down, then repicked once people started accepting heroes. We had already picked most of our heroes but me and one other guy tried our hardest to counter with timbersaw and CM That line up, omg. http://dotabuff.com/matches/339375932 The fact that we got 25 kills is actually really astounding | ||

I'd say about 90% of my commends went to supports, including supports of opposing teams. Sometimes I commended the whole team... you know you've had those type of games haha. | ||
