Have you tried 5-stacking? Literally any time somebody in your game demonstrates human decency, add the fuck outta them on steam and stack with them. Rinse, repeat.
I added some guy the other day after beating him. He almost single handedly brought his team back into the game so I was impressed, also I checked his DB and he was above 60 percent so I knew he was decent. Then he invited me to a party with insil and murs and I was like JACKPOT. Although one time I added a guy and he ended up being the biggest douche ever

Me and my 2 friends tried playing with some new guys I met at school to see if they'd be interested in playing as 5 more often. So how does that game go?
Well, after one of my regular friends feeds bloodseeker mid hardcore and won't call missing (and he's a "Pudge specialist", fuck me), we get stomped. The rest of their team was Drow, Space Cow, Riki, and Nyx.
Guess who knows 2 people who are never playing DotA again?

Yeah, Valve's MM system still doesn't appropriately handle Decent players queueing with their completely new friends just trying to "show them the game".
To wit: I don't recall ever winning a game when stacking with a newb teammate. I think I'm "expected" by the MM system to pick a pubstomping hero and go 12-0 or something but thats just not a situation I perform well in.

Ditto, whenever i see someone on my team pick SB or Blood I immediately apologise to my opponents. Then I look at their Dota profile and see if they always pick either of those heroes. If the answer is yes, mute them and commence glorious karma trolling.

Just had two games, both 50 minutes long that avereged at 3 kills per minute or so
shit was fucking bonkers
I won the first game because I randomed Lifestealer and he's fucking retardely OP, second game I played support so no luck there, I'd like to thank Weaver for rushing Butterfly for some reason and dying over and over and over again to Disruptor because he had no BKB

god pubs are so bad. and make me question myself why i play this game.
game that couldve ended at 25 minutes (with a win) was dragged on till 55 minutes by retard teammates just plain refusing to do anything that involves more then 3 people. when they started chatting about rnd bullshit with the other team i decided fuck this and just went semi afk farm in woods looking up streams hoping enemy (by now really strong by tons of rnd feeding and 2 having midas,still beatable i think) would just win and end my pain.
an hour of my life and i hated about 40minutes of it. fuck dota.

I'm ready to quit. I don't get normal games ever anymore. Before I quit I was playing great high level games and since I've come back it's fucking shit non-english speaking noobs on the US servers. Team comp looks normal, have a BH to off lane and a DS to jungle. Support is disruptor and I'm a skeleton king. Turns out disruptor doesn't speak English and goes to off lane with BH. So me as SK is stuck 1v1 against clock who just gets cog'd and fucked. Meanwhile DS single camp and pushes the lane. I can't stand this game anymore I think my MMR decayed a shit load while I didn't play for so long. Fucking game leaves my seriously pissed off every time I play it.

Some storm was doing EE's storm build. He basically never showed up in any team fights, even though we were winning most of em anyways. In the end, enemy won slightly, mostly thanks to us playing 4v5 nearly the entire game while storm spammed his soul ring and attempted to jungle farm.
Match making is really forcing me to swallow a bitter pill lately. Nearly every game has been one sided with one team clearly of a different skill level.

Pick timbersaw, end up having to go safelane with a sniper. I really needed farm and I also didn't want to trust the game to pub carries, but I also didn't want to be that jerk who contests farm. So I pulled instead and gave the lane to him, he was soloing against a mirana so it should be easy farm right? At 10 minutes in I check his items. He has treads, PMS and 300 gold. Fuck.

Carrys that don't attack the enemy Hero when you shackle but focus on the creeps/farm instead. Happens more often then you think.
EDIT: And no, I am not even talking about last hitting, but randomly autoattacking creeps instead of disabled Hero.

My buddy plays carry WR all the time, so I pick Naga support. I call this in the chat and we lock in.
These two chuckleheads (who had been showing heros like QoP, Alch) pick Omni and Ogre Magi (other guy picked SB, and was awful too). They then go hardlane vs. Undying and KOTL. They feed like 4 kills early and keep asking for help. Of course, who ended up having to go mid? Me. I somehow managed to do ok vs. Huskar there, and then when I do get a chance to go over and help, we get a gank but then they press on into the enemy jungle and we get wiped by Undying.
We just end up getting in a huge argument where they claim that Naga support "doesn't work in pubs", she's only a hard carry, "you never told us what you were going", and "the team doesn't revolve around you, you can't play however you want" even though I announced my intentions before anyone picked, and well before they locked in.

- Finished with a 4-4-21 score with lots of early game ganks to help team
- Took 2 raxes before enemy took our rax
- Our AM rushed radiance for fun
- Lost game because enemy somewhat get farm and 5 man us with superior items even though our early game was supreme.
