There sure is a lot of whine here about russians. I got stacked yesterday with 4 people who I thought were russians. I was preparing for another dreadful game. The picks were actually good, the line-up looked alot like a pro game line-up. http://dotabuff.com/matches/330830583 After 2 unstable minutes, with our puck picking up a kill or two, the Ogre and Troll I was laning with, talked to or about me in what I thought was russian. I responded with "Me no rus" to make it simple and understandable for them. To my surprise, they responded, with voice chat, in english "No rus, Ukraine". We proceeded to dominate that game HARD Fuck me I love Ukrainians. The avarage ukrainian > any rus.

I wanted to try out and draft in this mode. 2 Italians told me to "PLEASE PLEASE PICK SLARK AND ES, PICK SLARK AND ES". I didnt want to draft it but they insisted and I gave it to them. I wanted slark to mid and es to tri lane. But no these Italians had the most amazing idea of putting slark and es on the long lane. Es was supposed to pull dire acientsto level up and slark laned against a tri lane. It didnt work out for them and in the end everything was my fault and i got "outdrafted". Holt fucking shit I wanna kill Italians now.

Reminds me of the time when I had a friend who would constant whine and complain at me for not inviting him to our pub parties most of the time. note we generally don't like playing with him because he would constantly complain and keep on mentioning games where I did bad constantly (omg you haven't played with me after that bad Skeleton king game from a few weeks ago). we eventually gave up and just invited him because our party leader wanted to him a chance. we found a match and then the worst happened. he instant picked alchemist when we didn't need one and called our picks horrible (we had warlock, naga siren, sniper, and bristle back). We lost that game and constantly throughout the game, he would constantly bicker at me for every little fuck up I had. Funny how he was overall worst player of us and we actually had decent counters to the enemy team and such. neverless, after that match, he insulted for saying that we are all pros when he watches us all play yet we're noobs when joins in. he almost made one of my friends QUIT DOTA 2(he didn't though thank god) from that constant bickering. after that little incident, I removed him and refused to readd him if he's gonna act like this around me and my friends ever again.

I had problems with a guy who I used to play with too. We played occasionally but as a rule I was reluctant to ever match up with him. He was a poor player but one of those who would yell at EVERYONE else in the game. One of the last games I played with him we were with a French 3-stack (think it was a 3 stack, was a while ago now). I'd generally easily be the best player in the match or at least on my team when I matched with him and this was no exception; they were pretty bad and fed a bit. But so did the guy I was stacked with. But instead of...you know...keeping quiet and trying to get better he spent the whole game yelling at the other teammates. Literally just wouldn't shut up. Abuse. Criticisms on play. Making fun of bad plays. Yelling insults about them being French. In the end one of them just quit. I was carrying hard on Morphling so it didn't matter much. Then my stack partner quit. And a third guy, and the last. I nearly won it all by myself actually. Just rushing the throne. And I'd have got it too if I'd had ONE person left in the game to control the other heroes in defence rather than having to do both attacking and defending myself simultaneously. ![]() On the upside its around that time that I realised I might actually be able to play Meepo semi-ok. >_> I stopped queuing with that guy after a little incident where I was debating the relative merits of builds. I'm somewhat of a fan of the "skip armlet straight to S&Y" build on CK and I was mentioning how I felt armlet was overrated on him. My former friend went off on a rant insulting me and then mentioned that "this guy I play with sometimes says you're an idiot too". Classy. I've not talked to him since. ![]() Edit for QQ: Tonight is godawful. Kinda expected it after a couple of good days... Match 1 - Captain's Draft. Our Captain grabs Alc/SS/Tinker. Cool. There's a Venomancer and Mirana in the pool still. Veno/SS/Alc trilane with SS's shackles and hex, Veno slow and Alc stun. Tons of kills there. Tinker mid is solid and Mirana can be safe in offlane. NOPE. Guy lets it time out and we get randomed QOP and Tiny. QOP mid. Tinker/Tiny/SS aggressive trilane leaving me as Alc to farm bottom. Would have been ok if their TA hadn't been really good and just destroyed me by rotating in when Slardar stunned me. No help of course. :-\ Match 2 - Kunkka, Invoker, Pugna, LD, Clinkz. Quick game of how to lane these.... Did you guess Kunkka mid. Pugna/Clinkz duo safelane and LD jungle? Leaving me as Invoker to offlane solo against Weaver/ES? If so you guessed right! And I actually finished with least deaths... Edit2: Forced into solo offlane Invoker twice in back to back games...seriously ffs people. This last one in All Random and because our goddamn TA wouldn't speak. "You actually keeping that TA?" "You staying on that or repicking?" until after the first creepwave spawned. I hit play and lo-and-behold he's kept it and gone mid. JUST SAY SOMETHING GOD DAMN IT.

I hit play and lo-and-behold he's kept it and gone mid. JUST SAY SOMETHING GOD DAMN IT. Had a friend similar to that one too on steam. There were 4 of us discussing Phantom Lancer's core items and what he should get first. We were discussing the advantages of Radiance rush VS Diffusal. My other friend and I were being objective about it analysing the advantages of Radiance and Diffusal - I for one sort of favored the Radiance because of it's farming potential and my ability to send my illusions to lane to split push while I farm in the jungle and potentially get farm in lane as well due to radiance. We also commented on Diffusal and it's mana burn, ganking potential and team fight contribution. We know it's quite situational but it was an interesting discussion. The other friend is a stubborn prick who has opinions - "I personally favor it" - telling us we're wrong in ever thinking radiance first. We were trying to have an analytical discussion but this moron is being a condescending prick telling us we're wrong and I tell him go google the merits of Radiance first in terms of farming - turns out he was wrong in everything he said. Was on skype with him as well - wanted to punch him in the face... Haven't played much with him ever since and I just mute him in game if we do play in a big stack. Your friend sounds exactly like this - absence of an objective mindset, it was just a discussion on an item build and he went full retard...

We got a good plan. Offlane BH with Luna mid and a trilane of Lion/CM/Naix. Naix immediately starts heading up mid and along to the jungle asking us to stack a medium camp for him for level 6. After much arguing Lion and myself finally manage to persuade him to get into the damn lane. We do fairly well. Lion gets levels from the camp, me from the lane. We get several kills on their offlane solo ET. Although we have to chivvy Naix back into lane a few times. I look at Naix's farm...he's gone Midas. Eh...ok debatable but whatever. At least he'll get good farm, right? Naix: "Should I go Shadow Blade or Armlet." .....what? You can probably guess how the game went from there but just to make it absolutely clear: Naix gets his armlet after much persuasion. Complains about not having his Lothars so he can "appear right by people and kill them!" Next he gets his hyperstone only because Lion is explicitly walking him through builds. He builds basher which is ok. Then asks if he should get Mjollnir or BKB next. Everyone tells him to get AC. So he gets a Mjollnir. Little later on we take Rosh, he keeps yelling that its his so we give it to him. He immediately goes into the dire ancients whilst low on life and gets ambushed by their entire team whilst gondar was spotting and seeing nobody was coming from the other side so its the only place they could have been if they wanted to ambush us. Then he rants a bit more about how he doesn't know how to play Naix without Shadow Blade and how everyone has their own builds. Oh and Gondar? He built a battlefury. Sad that you don't even notice that in your game because someone else is trying to build even worse. X-( Second game Random Draft. I pick Nyx first. I figure I can go mid and control the game, didn't want to have to face something like the previous game with no impact later on. Tab back in after a bit. My team is Broodmother, Pugna, Naix, Spectre. Safelane Spectre/Pugna, Naix jungle, Nyx mid, Brood off; right? Nope. Naix first insists that he wants me in lane with him. Broodmother mid and a Spectre/Pugna offlane. Broodmother goes offlane. Spectre goes mid. Arguments with Naix. Happily Pugna abandoned just now so I could quit (I was having to JUNGLE NYX -_- ).

To be fair he was a pretty friendly guy and didn't play that bad. But still, how can you have 200 wins and being (presumably) in very high and not know this?
