I was on a team with 4 people from China and they were speaking exclusively Chinese. Eventually after me complaining about my language queue settings one of them told me in broken English that I was stupid for only knowing 1 language and that DotA is played outside of America so I should get used to it, I'm Canadian, and well... I was on US West. So... Too bad a region lock will never be added to this game. | ||

I'm left with autoattacking storm spirit on bottom. Axe/silencer combo destroys venom top, so he comes bot in order to trilane. He comes in and sends a beautiful gale, enough to score a kill... if only storm took his time to kill the guy. Nah, complaining that venom came to the bot lane and broke the sacred 2-1-2 is more important. And proceeds to complain about our picks (lasti picking storm heyoo), about my item choice (heart bad item on pl) and builds a fucking DAGON. Fuck. | ||

My matches were still very high queue before the patch that hid it so I don't know what's going on. I think US east server is largely to blame. I love playing this game but it feels like World of Warcraft all over again, but at least in that game I could join a top guild. Why do most of the best games have to be team games. How do I enjoy this game, seriously.. edit: I did the ghetto match id lookup and the game was very high still so I'm just gonna say US East is largely unskilled. | ||

Party of three highest level is 14, 2 mechs, a shadowblade on the Keeper of Light and they start beaking me in chat and saying I need to learn to play. All about 14 years old. I Finish at 12-4, next best 4-9. FUCK this game is so irritating sometimes. I think if I am going to continue this game I need to find some reasonable people to play with | ||

Try to farm lane : sb Naaix bomb. Try to go as 5 : kitty ult + fatal bonds + golems + od ult. Try to split push : they face rush throne so you have to tp. What the actual fuck does one do in a game like this? We won 2/3 lanes, but who cares when your heroes only need level 6 so you can go as 5 and quite literally just press R and click to win things. About 15 games in a row with a fucking Pussy Breaker in them. I'm over Dota for a while. Maybe I'll go back to playing hots until next balance patch. | ||

Also if you assume the supports to be good enough to shut down LD, most other offlaners are gonna get shutdown even worse without the ability to pull the creeps and block camps with summons. And in such a high level game, every little bit of resources would count and LD would still be a good offlaner by being able to block camps and starve opponent supports early on. | ||

Didnt work for me the last game, when I asked supports to get sentrys/dust, while opponent had lothars SB and clinkz. 50 miute game, not a single sentry/dust from them, I had to buy 3 gems on Krob and even then didnt stand a chance, because our morph and PA were so incredibly underfarmed... morph had skadi yasha, PA had bkb BF vlads, 50 minutes in, when they had even CM farmed with troll items more than they were (Cm got even butterfly in the end), they just opened on me with SB with naix bomb and clinkz and it was over. Bonus points to CM, that after one fight we somehow almost won after we innitiated on them, she was the last (wo)man standing and popped ulti and got ultra kill with aghs ulti in like 2 seconds, damn lucky shards, but hillarious to see the dmg in the who-killed-me menu, like 200 from naix and 300 from clinkz, 1900 from CMs ulti... | ||
