Playing against bad furions is probably my favorite thing to do in Dota, so satisfying. The ones who cliff jungle, never gank, no map awareness, no courier snipes, spam ult to deny farm etc. | ||

Had a game in captain's draft... I banned the spirit breaker and dark seer. In hindsight, we could have picked up the dark seer since we had first pick. I drafted sven, jakiro, bounty hunter, witch doctor and razor VS tiny, riki, death prophet, gyro and axe. The only problem I think we had was the tiny initiation otherwise, our team fight capability, if we dodge the gyro's ultimate and dodge tiny's stun, was in our favor with my ice path with sven's follow up stun then witch doctor's. We also had a harder carry in Sven. This Russian wants Sven - fine he speaks English, that's a good start. The idiot fails to last hit properly in lane, starts with a quelling blade which is dumb since our lane was going to have a gyrocopter for sure, afks at the 10 minute mark, gets an abandon, fails to properly do anything for the team and the rest of my team are a bunch of pussies who play passive and stay really far behind when we're pushing towers as a 4 man unit when there's only 3 in the area. My friend is a total retard on bounty hunter who thinks he can harass 2v1 an axe and riki, gets battle hunger and then retreats back to base when witch doctor and I could have set up a kill on riki and axe... then we die. This witch doctor is a greedy retard who doesn't know when to retreat hence gets picked off 1v4 and tells me "We need wards," when he has them in the inventory and I just purchased more. The only noteworthy player was the Razor but his goddamn play was too passive... I hate supporting retarded carries... And I also ask myself why do I play with this friend of mine who has shit decision making skills... | ||

 game was fun, but fun in the sense of Horde Mode. We managed to bring the game back from 21-2 15 minutes in to 55-35 50 minutes in so that's something. edit: nvm just checked dotabuff this guy had two points in refractions up until level 13, this guy was a goddamn retard | ||

The worst part of this is normally they are so bad they have to play a carry just to break even in KD. 2. makes it so baddie players who pick sniper/drow ranger every single match who have a good game (going 15 kills 5 deaths is totally possible on your first game of dota with these character vs other braindead players) get launched into non-retard MMRs and fuck up games because they pick carries every time, have no game sense of when to fight, etc. 3. Good players avoiding battles they're not sure if they can win or not, because they're not sure if their teamates are competent. If i have to question which teamates i'm with before i consider pushing a tower hard or starting a teamfight, just because my teamates are so wildly distributed in skill, there is a problem with the MMR. Anyone who can shed some light onhow the matching is working i will appreciate a lot. It's just so frustrating right now and i'm wondering if i keep playing games it will become better. I have almost 75% win rate, but i feel like the pool of players is so bad no matter what. It seems like only 1 out of 10 games there is a good team where everyone actually has played more than a week of dota 2.. | ||

In theory, playing more games should place you where you belong but individually it is very likely to have absolutely retarded players due to stacking/huge search range/players off-hero/mood etc.. in one match. My complain about the system is, MMR seems like changes very rapidly after consecutive wins and merely matches you with better opponents(rather with bad teammates) from my experience. It can be subjective thou but clearly visible how consecutive matches are so different skill-wise. Also you can smurf and climb more than your value by winning your initial matches hard enough. | ||
