Or a support who rages in team chat when he sees furion took TP first, then uses the starting wards to block the cliff camps?
If he actually uses the early level in TP to gank at lv2, it's just barely forgivable.
If I was the support, I'd have waited until he got sprout up, and if he just stayed chillin' I'd have blocked it then.

lol. I love blocking the cliff camps for them ahahah.
Even better though, is when you are running a jungle rubick rotation, and when you are level 5, you see the enemy Furion trying to attack your creeps from the highground at ~400hp. Lift + Zap into EZ firstblood.

As far as I'm aware the theory goes is that it allows you to safely get to level 2 with teleport and sprout rather than treants, as well as keeping your health full. This allows you to then TP in and sprout for an early gank on someone and get first blood when everyone is level 2-3. Thus letting you catch up relative to a Furion with treants as well as helping to win a lane for your team.
The downsides to it are that it is a very slow farming method and is quite a risky play depending on camp (if its trolls you can be in a lot of trouble) and you're relying heavily on actually getting that level 2 gank off. If it fails then its a huge setback and you're very suboptimally set up for pulling back into it by farming (because you don't have treants).
The problem in pub games with it is that most Furions do the first part (get TP and go highground to attack creeps) but they don't follow through on the "TP to a lane and gank someone" part. They just use it as a way to be even more afk and "safe" whilst farming creeps. And because its WAY slower than treants they end up miles behind everyone else.

Nine games won in a row, of course it had to be that way, that i have a 36 minute battlefury spectre in the team!

>solo queues for shits and giggles >gets a dragon knight who doesn't skill his stun til LVL 9(SO MANY POSSIBLE EARLY GAME KILLS LOTS DUE TO THAT) >he yells at me for being underleveled for being a support
i'm done with solo queueing for now

Afaik its just new/less experienced players who maybe has heard that its possible or maybe seen another random prophet do it. Then they think: "that sounds good, a safe hard camp for free, awesome!". And tbh, if you arent into Dota at all, who can blame them? It does kinda make sense.
Dont think theres any deeper analysis that that.

What I mean to say is thats what people are SUPPOSED to do with it. That's how its actually viable in any way. Its sort of like an SC2 cheese strat; you're going all-in on an early gank or you're just going to be miles behind.
Most people don't actually realise that its intended to be an early gank strategem. :-\

and even then, it still depends if the other lanes can actually give you an opening for a tp gank. I think thats a problem with prophet in general, people expect him to tp to ganks and splitpush towers, because thats what he does, right? But if the lanes are constantly under enemy towers with no opening or when prophet is trying to push one lane and the rest of the team doesnt group up to push different lane to give a distraction and rather farm in jungle, so enemy can easily focus on prophet pushing, the prophet takes the blame pretty much always for being noob and not ganking/feeding while pushing, even when often the rest of the team doesnt give him the room for either and is to blame much more.
No wonder prophets rather stick to jungle, preferably until they are selfsufficient with lothars, because it gets tiring to be blamed for everything.

Broodmother suffers the same problem really; you don't have the escape mechanism of a Lycan or an Antimage split-pushing so you're reliant on other lanes being pressured as you push. And thats compounded by how easy it is to feed spiders. Pubs are really, really bad at coordinating pushes across multiple lanes but on the flip side if you can organise it its really hard to stop a split-push in a pub game.

Laned with Naix as WD, pulled, warded, upgraded courier, got a kill, stacked multiple camps (SF might want that, you know...), Naix doing well. But looking at the other three, I lost my hopes as a lot of those kills you see were really early on. As a bonus, no English (except for Necrolyte flaming me that I didn't put a point into maledict early on).
I want someone who actually talks. And doesn't try to dive 1v4 to get a kill. Please. PLEASE. I don't mind being a ward bitch, I just want to play decent games.

Win mid, get a 2 kills on their carry by 15 mins. Check score Yourteam 5-20 Their team.
I had no deaths in both games.
sometimes i wonder why people cant just measure danger and not just die over and over again.

haha, tried an all pick game and it was fucking horrible. not only does it take longer to get an AP game cause of 9/10 and DC's, the level of play is just laughable. Support rubick doesn't get sentries to start against BH, doesn't pull, wards own hard camp, proceeds to run off and die constantly and then flips out when called out on it. Off laners feed as usual. How how in mmr do you have to be for a decent all pick? Cause very high label never made sense.

lol, these two BRs keeps shit talking me with "fuck u" and "noob" and "ur ruining my game". Meanwhile they last picked 2 carries (which made our team have 5 carries), I checked their profiles and they are smurfs. Why are people so entitled?

2 quick losses because of Medusa trying to ancient jungle. Fortunately, we had early abandons to save us from the pain.
