Bane can be so annoying in pub games... our bane would nightmare the ennemy that we are targeting all the time. I frostbyte an ennemy? NIGHTMARE.
Mirana hits an arrow? NIGHTMARE.
And it's not even as if he was trolling, he was trying to do his best but it was a single draft game and people tend to be really terrible with heroes they are not used to  .

See also: OD astral imprison, SD disruption, Naga song, Disruptor glimpse, etc.
Some people are REALLY good at saving the lives of enemies. Not to mention when you get a Void who chronos to killsteal.

Leshrac (burst tower) + Omni (heal + free BKB) + Gyro (DPS-O-METER) + OD (destroy middle) + Dark seer (solid offlaner + full melee hero)
trilane lesh/omni gyro, OD midd, DS offlane
Push towers, then when DS got mek 5 man push for the win before all carry can carry. ;D
You can replace Lesrac with Chen (Creeps tank illusion YO)

In this game I was solo queuing. I picked lone druid because I wanted to practice him. My team picks Kunkka, Jugg, Mirana and SF LOL. So maybe this was one of those games where it was impossible to turn things around by yourself. Wisp and Sven were roaming together starting from level 1 and nobody started with wards. They got first blood on SF in the first creep wave. I was laning with Jugg bot, we did well until wisp and sven ganked us at level 2 ish, I died twice but we ended up trading kills both times so Jugg was quite high in level. Meanwhile Mirana and Kunkka lane against a solo PL, of course this should mean PL gets zero farm right? Nope, he gets a solo kill on Mirana because she stands next to enemy tower and lets it get 3-4 hits off her and then PL just presses Q for free gold.
All in all definitely one of the more amusing games in MM in terms of how badly we got raped. Poor SF, he was probably super pissed, he finished 0-6-2 in an 11 minute game because of all the ridiculous ganks

Exactly. That is 4 heroes that need farm and once you get a few levels under your belt, you can smash them down if you push hard enough. Also, a fast mek for pushing wouldn't hurt either. I would also recommend a Death Prophet and a Dazzel. They are good for pushing and knocking down towers.

The matchmaking in this game is awful. I hate to say SC2 has anything over this, but I'd rather wait a couple minutes than get queued up with 4 russians that suck. They all had 600 ping, I left as soon as one of them dced and abandoned.

Our line up is DS (me), SF (friend), sven, wisp, SB (pubs). I suggest offlane, SF mid, tri bot with sven farming. My SB proceeds to tell me "wtf you don't even have wards for your lane, I don't trust you alone." So he comes to the offlane with me, and drops wards RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ENEMY SUPPORTS. Insta-deward. Then he goes to the rune spot near their jungle and drops another ward (the same spot they've obviously already warded cos its their safe lane). ANOTHER INSTA DEWARD. We're blind for 8 mins.
But win the game anyway cos......DS broken? SB broken? Enemy sniper goes midas before boots and I just solo kill him twice when his supports rotate? Game is hard.

Yeah, everyone complained when all the copies of SC2 were region locked and we couldn’t log onto any server we wanted. After playing Dota 2, I kinda see the up sides to that system.

That directly depends on if the people in the pub game speak English. If so, I can normally sell that "ok, I am going to get the item that heals you all and then we can break their towers and burn their houses," plan.
