Medusa, AM, pudge, meepo and axe vs Lifestealer, rubick, gyrocopter, Magnus and Natures Prophet. Meh, we almost won.

Another thing is that you actually have stuff to do at 1:40, so the player you're babysitting might not be too happy about it. There is also a small risk of enemy movement within that timeframe, probably only relevant if you're playing vs enchantress or some roamstrat.

Yea, cause I'm going to fucking go ward with my 0 money and even if I did have the money I'm not going to ward with no boots vs a lv6 pudge that you somehow lost mid to. Can't fucking do anything because my lane partner is spectre and we all know how fucking useful a large melee creep is in lane. Vs sand king and lion no less so I could never pull or otherwise spectre gets fucking murdered. ...This just sounds like really bad support play. The entire point of creep pulling is to force the wave back to your tower so your Spectre doesn't even worry about getting killed. If their mid is level 6 and you don't even have time money...don't know what to say to that. That's assuming the carry isn't a retard and goes forward with the wave while I'm pulling. Which he does go forward with the wave so he gets double stunned and blown up(happened both times I tried to pull even after telling him I was going to) but hey, thanks for the accusation. Pudge was lv6 by 4 minutes because viper kept feeding him. Coil... I'm all for venting, but seriously you're waaaaaaaay in the wrong here. I just watched your game. 1) You miss an EASY first blood by not ice pathing for some reason. 2) You then GIVE UP first blood in a really silly unnecessary way. You were pulling into your double stack, they came up, you took hits and pulled back, good. You're alive, good. Then you went back in with virtually no health and without seeing the enemies retreat and die for no reason. 3) I should also mention you are auto attacking the creep camp... this just hurts your team, as you want them to beat on your creep wave, the longer the better. 4) Viper does not really "lose mid" to Pudge. The Lion that was in YOUR LANE comes down and helps stun-gank because of no missing call and no wards. I don't blame the Viper for being upset at all. Yeah, he was kind've a dick about it, but he wasn't wrong. 5) Not sure what you're complaining about the Spectre for, he seemed fine. By the time I took this screenshot (7.5 minute mark), he is 1-0-0. His first death is under YOUR T1 tower too, not even remotely near the enemy's. You also had money and should have been warding. TBH I think you just really really underestimate the value of map awareness and quite frankly your play shows it pretty clearly. In fact, the Pudge goes 3-0 because the bot rune is not warded also (not necessarily your fault, the shadow shaman didn't get wards either), and he gets a Haste rune and double kills the bot lane. Neither team had rune vision actually which is just very poor play all around by both teams. I also don't understand what's up with the overly defensiveness... yeah no one wants to feel "attacked" but people are actually giving you worthwhile advice. Lack of map awareness is 100% what caused you guys to get wrecked early. Your reply to the Viper does not paint you exactly as a cooperative teammate either ^_^: ![]() In fact, you strike me as someone that no one would really want to play with anyways, even if just for the poor attitude and not necessarily your lack of game understanding: ![]()

On the whole QQ note I have a small one (may aswell since i'm gracing this thread). Played my first Compendium match, someone insta-picks Alch, dies twice and then for some ridiculous reason is acid spraying the camps that i've not stacked for him. After it happened the second time I just started pinging the camps I was stacking and telling him to spray these ones! In the end it all worked out, ez treats ez life

That's not wrong. Most double stacks easily kill a creep wave with multiple mobs left, which you can immediately stack again (so you can pull another wave). So autoattacking just makes that next stack a bit weaker (which you can counterbalance by denying your own creeps that time), but enables you to kill some more (=more $$$). I also dont think you can ward at 0:00. 150g courier ~190g lane regen Go to lane, see if enemy wards your pullcamp. If yes, buy sentry. If no buy wards / upgrade courier. A warded pullcamp is imho way worse compared to those initial 2min of no vision.

my QQ: having a TA mid, that doesn't level refraction at all. Only meld+stats. Yeah, my middlefinger would like to have a talk with you. And I was even wondering what the hell happened, that he's 0-3 after 5 mins against a NS in a 1v1 in mid with no ganks at all helping NS. Funny enough that this game happened right after I selected EU west+east and all languages for the sake of finding faster matches [usually just west+english only]. I went back to my usual options right after that game. Longer waiting times are worth better matches.

I don't know, if the other team has wards and is able to get the first 2 runes, your mid could be a sad panda depending on the match up. I would rather have wards to assure my entire team does well, rather than have my mid chased out of lane and have to worry about a super early gank.

The problem is that nobody else reads the change logs, and an enormous chunk of the people who used to soloqueue think it's been removed, meaning an already small player pool is now nonexistant. I think soloqueue will die completely if they don't make the option more obvious. If anything I would prefer soloqueue to die off, since the wait was always too long for me to be bothered, so (for me) it essentially means there are less players in the regular pool to match against. Not to mention the one game I did get into in solo (and my first game in high matchmaking without a stack) was probably one of the worst games I've ever had. I've had some of my best non-stack games when I solo queued. The difference was about 1-2 minutes (regular queue was about 3mins, solo 4-5) but it was totally worth it. Now it legitimately takes too long, for no good reason imo. Hey I'm sure it's good for some people, but the couple of times I did try to queue it took me 6-8 minutes to find a game (most game modes, Australian server only), and I am just too impatient for that. Maybe I just tried at bad times but when I finally did find a game, the fact that it was horrible just put me off. I'm just saying that for me personally, it would be better for it to die off completely. Edit: I only did manage to get a game once, I think the first time I was waiting for ages, got two accept fails and just gave up. On July 17 2013 11:45 iokke wrote: I don't understand how the wave gets pushed forward as you are pulling, isn't reverse supposed to happen? If you only single pull (don't stack the camp before pulling it) you bring the wave closer to your tower temporarily, but generally a single jungle camp wont kill the entire creep wave. So your next creep wave will consist of the full wave and the remainder of the wave you pulled, hence pushing the wave. Not to mention during the pull, the enemy creep wave might engage the tower so your wave will push even faster. Single pulling is actually great for pushing a tower in my experience, I like to do it against solo lanes sometimes, especially if they don't have aoe or we can bully them away from the tower so they can't take creep aggro. even if you single pull, as you are pulling the wave should be pushed back. When you are done pulling the lane gets pushed forward but you are back in lane with the carry (complaint was that spectre was overextending alone) besides if he was single pulling without a good reason..... i doubt that was the case Sorry I thought you were just generally asking how a wave is pushed from pulling creeps, from my answer you (and a few other people) seemed to believe he was single pulling, and its understandable that he got defensive on that front since at no point did he claim to be single pulling. Anyway, it is possible for the wave to temporarily push for various reasons while the support is going to pull and for the carry to then overextend, though of course it is not a result of pulling (unless you counted the lack of denying). As for the boots statement it seems I was the one that misinterpreted . Ah well, pretty funny conclusion to that QQ.
