Since it's so hard to understand, imagine 2 waves fighting at enemy tower, I pull the next wave into a double stack. Spectre continues to stand at the wave, gets chain stunned and dies. I'm apparently at fault according to you guys.

Maybe I just tried at bad times but when I finally did find a game, the fact that it was horrible just put me off. I'm just saying that for me personally, it would be better for it to die off completely. Edit: I only did manage to get a game once, I think the first time I was waiting for ages, got two accept fails and just gave up. If you only single pull (don't stack the camp before pulling it) you bring the wave closer to your tower temporarily, but generally a single jungle camp wont kill the entire creep wave. So your next creep wave will consist of the full wave and the remainder of the wave you pulled, hence pushing the wave. Not to mention during the pull, the enemy creep wave might engage the tower so your wave will push even faster. Single pulling is actually great for pushing a tower in my experience, I like to do it against solo lanes sometimes, especially if they don't have aoe or we can bully them away from the tower so they can't take creep aggro. even if you single pull, as you are pulling the wave should be pushed back. When you are done pulling the lane gets pushed forward but you are back in lane with the carry (complaint was that spectre was overextending alone) besides if he was single pulling without a good reason..... i doubt that was the case

But, more or less, you were the 5th bad player on a team of bad players, and the one thing you chose to post about was actually good advice and bad support play on your part.

Isn't he saying that as he was pulling, the spectre was sitting at the creeps nearer to the enemy tower rather than staying back and waiting for the enemy creeps to push closer to their own tower?

Ok, so me getting boots at the 15 minute mark is ok as long as the viper in mid has vision of the lion before he feeds. K.

Single pulling stacks the wave, pushing it up to your opponents tower and forcing your carry to farm in s dangerous position, so yes its partly your fault. He might have made a bad play being greedy enough to farm in such a risky spot, but that fact that he had to consider doing so rests on you, so you should at least accept some or the responsibility. I dont know why you have to be so defensive. People are giving you legitimately useful information and you reject it because you want to prove your teammates were playing worse than you

Playing with the same friend from every story, when after a discussion about why playing Normal MM support is the anti-thesis of fun, we decide to take turns laning as supports and carries each game. My turn comes around, I pick AM and we get sent to hardlane against the Riki and KotL who instapicked when they saw me. Spent the whole game making me look like an idiot and now I'm "that" antimage, 0-5 and a perseverence at 15 minutes. And now I get to listen to all the tutorials as if I were playing my first game. No I'm not professing to be some great player, but this is embarrassing. I always tell myself that if I were given the chance I could show him the game of his life, and when it finally comes I throw so hard I get a website dedicated to it. </uninstall:dota2.exe>

Map vision and good warding is much more important than getting early brown boots on a support. Awareness of enemy hero movement can stop a bad situation from getting worse. The better question is, what did you feel would be accomplished by rushing boots? By your account you weren't getting ganked, you weren't being a roaming support, you were just sitting in lane and occasionally pulling creeps. If the early game situation was as bad as you say, how were boots going to turn things around?

Many mids are most vulnerable to ganks in those first 1-2 minutes, so that 1st 0 minute ward is actually very important. Obviously if you are in an MMR where support movement never happens and you will always go watch the 2 minute rune for your mid (which you should do even if you DO ward), you can skimp on that 0 minute ward--but if that's the case there are a lot more corners that you can cut that have a far more meaningful impact on the game than just delaying your 0 minute ward.

but in my experience, in pubs at least, 0:xx ward is wasted, at least statistically, for me. Reason being is that i have been ganked by the support movement you mentioned in mid, but that happend maybe thrice out of about 500 games (as in successfully killing me, frankly i only remember 1 time). Given that with a rune ward I'd catch it 50% of the time (can only see 1 side), it really is not much. Much more often I died as mid when a stray support picked up a haste rune per say and it wasnt noticed. But that is something that is easily spotted by checking/challenging first runes. idk, especially after the patch spending that first ward pre 2nd rune seems more of a laziness/waste

There are a lot of other things you should be thinking about other than worrying about cutting that particular corner.
