Is there just no MMR consideration in the training match pool? Or is nobody taking them at all seriously? I am getting paired with some seriously dumb people. In my last game, I had a Witch Doctor rush for Bloodstone without having Dagon and putting just one point into healing. There was literally nothing for him to spend that much mana on. Same game our mid Drow goes treads, wand.... Eaglesong. And she was complaining that we weren't coming to gank mid for her.
The game before that our mid Zues only got 22 last hits all game, end up with a grand total of mana boots and bottle after 30 minutes in which he died 10 times. He then got an abandon despite still "playing" because he was too afraid to leave the base. I also got a Sand King who killed four people in an ulti, died, and immediately started whining. He said, word for word, "The things I do for this team. Sometimes it doesn't seem worth it." and kept on like a put upon 18th century housewife all game.
Only two more games left.

Why am I so bad with Tiny? I randomed him today and I just can't seem to get a decent game with him. I either got killed by the bristleback, or I ate an Omnislash and just die on the spot. In the end I got a 50min Aghanims and not much else, and all game long I found it impossible to use the Avalanche Toss combo. Using Avalanche is one thing, but 9/10 times I cant seem to Toss.
On another note, me and a friend I often played with just raged hard today at each other. He was blaming me for feeding and losing mid, despite me not dying once as Zeus vs OD and still getting farm. I got so pissed I just yelled over mumble and promptly removed him from my friendslist. It wasn't pretty, but got he gets me mad/despressed almost everytime I play with him. No idea whats gonna happen next but today was kinda a rough dota day :/

If playing with your friend makes you depressed over a game then perhaps you shouldn't play with him

2 guys both randomed(!) supports
Guess what?
No one bought a courier. Even with random gold... After a time I bought it as a Lone Druid...of course no one upgraded it. No wards the entire game either. We still won bcs the enemy team was even worse. Dont know why im suddenly in such a shit tier now, i guess the MM now matches me with utter noobs bcs my previous games went fairly good, to balance it out.

The problem with randoming is that you don't get to see the player card after the hero is selected. If you're new to the game, you will not know the hero you got is supposed to support. Some heroes have courier as a default item which is a hint, but not all.

Ive been consistently getting 5min queues, which was fine. Now they're 10minute queues.... What the flying fuck...

Had a random warlock last game do the same thing. I asked him why and he said "I look and many support. They buy. I aghamims."
The rest of the team were gyro, BH, puck and tiny. Many support, indeed.
Also when we lost he goes "not enough carry. only noob BH. gg." Sure man, if you like. Poor BH actually knew what he was doing, too. Makes me depressed to see someone complain about a BH not building bf...

I played 10 tiny games in a row just to practice the combo.
As for playing with friends, I don't really do that anymore. Even if I do, i go in with the mentality that we're going to lose, so I might as well have fun and fool around. I never get serious playing with friends anymore, I will end up trying to get them to improve but they rather stay at their noob level and have fun, then I get pissed off and they get pissed off and we dont talk for next 2 days.
I realised playing DOTA2 and taking everything in stride is key. Getting mad solves nothing, despite your frustration, people won't realise their playing it wrong. All you can do is give some friendly tips like "hey man, a blink would work wonders, you will be able to do a lot with it and carry us!" or "guys, we really need BKB. Those stuns are just killing us!" and hope they do as you've recommended. Even if they don't, chalk it up as a loss & just play on without whining.

Just played a FUCKING EXHAUSTING game that we lost to a stack at 70 minute mark due to split pushing. I could have played better and swung some fights in our favor but god damn does it suck to lose at the 70 minute mark. Had some MASSIVE whiffs with blackholes and some really nice ones :p
On the bright side I got matched with mizU and he raped face as zeus. Been running into a lot of TLers lately which is pretty nice

My friends got new computers and said they wanted to play DotA. cool, the three of us decide to get together at one of our houses and I was gonna teach them a few things while we just played vs AI. Start game one, and as soon as we get into our lanes, we get hit with a MASSIVE lag spike that lasts for 10 seconds, and when it ends two of us have died. These spikes continue constantly for the entire game. Oh they grouped up 5 mid? Let's all meet up there and Razer casts his spell and LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG you're whole team is dead

For the last 2 months I have been getting great games overall, really enjoying dota and was really happy untill yesterday: Game is completely over, team has given up, so I decide to just go afk, grab a drink before the next game since it was just a couple of minutes untill they would be destroying the ancient, come back: I have a abandon.
A little earlier today play a close game 25mins in (was a good/close game and i was doing well), my internet goes haywire, I disconnect, reconnect, play further, 5mins same thing, a while later I reconnect, team has sold my items and I have a abandon.
So super annoyed that that happened, and I am now in the low priority pool. It can't be that bad I thought, well boy was I wrong.
It's like every single bad story you have ever heard about LP combined into 2 games (feeders/leavers/that special kind of group of russians/absolutely clueless play).
It's been months since I have actually said anything close to rage/insult (never been muted), but that last game, that was to much. So that's no dota for me for 2 days. (since that LP timer still says 1 day, so tomorrow it will end at like 4am or something)

First game after release is a completely one sided stomp. 23-2 at 12 minutes with us losing barracks.

It's a long and grueling game. I'm playing a WR in 4th position, buying about half the wards and half the invis detection (we had a really good Dark Seer and Vengeful Spirit that helped with both of those). The game drags on and our PA, who was feeding early on, finally seems to have gotten her feet under her. She completes her battlefury, gets treads, and things seem like they'll go well, if only we can hold out.
The enemy team is pretty scary. Lots of invis (bounty, shadow blade on Furion and sniper, and invoker can also invis) as well as lots of physical damage since bounty, furion, and sniper are all building for damage output. Sniper and furion both have MKBs.
Now, our PA is a friend of my friend, so I've been kinda holding back my criticism. But I look over and see, no, not a bkb, not a helm, not a basher... but a talisman of evasion and a quarterstaff. I calmly advise PA that with the money in her bank, she can sell the talisman of evasion (which provides worse evasion than PA's passive, neither of which will work ANYWAYS since they all have mkbs) and get a basher or most of a bkb instead. The rest of the team notices PA's item build and starts saying "dude PA, they have mkbs, and you have evasion anyways-- maybe build a different item?"
and then PA starts flaming us for asking him to sell the talisman of evasion. He says "I didn't say anything about your build" to our venge who has a mek, tranqs, and part of a push staff. He asks me where my items are as he uses the crow I bought to bring him his quarterstaff. He flames me for my lack of items as he safely farms under my wards and after helping us gank dudes who could only get ganked because me and the other supports are buying invis detect
and he doesn't sell his damn talisman of evasion, he doesn't even make a butterfly with it, hell, he doesn't make an HH with it, he just HAS IT.

One of the most brutal stomps I've ever been part of. Let's go over the lineup.
SF - English speaking dude. Starts bottle (??), gets a DD rune at 0:00, manages to lose to Drow quite hard anyways. Visage - Speaks Spanish, made very pronounced and evident by him constantly rambling on in Spanish over speaker. Axe - Hopefully listening to his teammate and fellow only-spanish-speaking comrade, Visage. Equally competent at feeding their DS / Clock opponent lane. DK - While not sporting NsG!!tm tags, he's a fellow only-spanish speaker. To add to this, he started with dragon's blood... which seemed fine, and maybe meant he wanted to be a bit more durable against harass for level 1... but didn't seem to be the case when he ran into battle headlong as soon as the first creep wave arrived. And then would follow our pushing wave to their tower while I pulled, and then yell at me in Spanish presumably for not standing by his side (at their tier 1) so he can farm "safely" against a Huskarr and Undying that not only have killed him more than once already, but also STILL have Drow's aura making our lives even harder still. And of course me as support CM, as usual.
Anyways game was 18 minutes of fucking awful.
...and I get it. Spanish-speaker queue in NA servers with english tags because of latency issues routing to other servers. That's all well and good, but having three people yell at you (when you've managed, as CM, to feed the -least-) in a language you don't understand is just fucking IRRITATING. Being able to at least feel like I actually warned DK that I was pulling or that I feel he should rank up dragon's breath and I'll stick points in aura so he can use it a bit more to farm etc etc would have made me feel a little more in control of a game where literally everyone fed and 3/5 people were convinced it was my fault... but couldn't tell me -why- it was my fault in a language I actually speak.
+ Show Spoiler ++ Show Spoiler +This game happened right after that game, so it's alllllll good.

Why, oh why the fuck do I play supports. I secure first blood for slardar on top lane as veno. He has complete and total free farm cause there's not much an sk and a lycan can do when they're behind 2 levels. I roam around getting more kills. Doesn't fucking matter because this is dota.
where the carries have no fucking clue how to farm and just want to be the fucking hero and spend the other game killing other heroes and only breaking even rather than farming shit that matters.
OD mid has a force staff until 40 minutes when he finally gets his bkb. I call his retarded ass out on it and he says in a dumb russian accent "you have no idea the counters they have". It was lycan, sk, bloodseeker, silencer and doom. I was always the one getting doomed. What the FUCK counter are you talking about you fucking retarded carry?
Slardar had free farm and yet has vanguard, treads and blink dagger at 40 minutes. All the while I'm buying wards and tps like a good little support in hopes that they can win with the help I give. NOPE fucking morons.
lone druid has halberd, belt of strength and mjollnir at 40 minutes. He would never go into his ult form for fights so he would just blown the fuck up every time. He somehow lost long lane vs silencer and doom. How the fuck do you lose to 0 stuns?
And so ends a night of going 1-5. All the time ruined by fucking idiotic carries that ruin every game they play in.

I've never seen much point in raging at people for just straight-up being bad at lasthits or whatever. It's not like they're going to go "oh that guy's annoyed at me, I guess I better magically start getting every last hit because I wasn't trying before." Yeah, it's depressing when you end up in an unwinnable game because your am has 1 cs/minute, but it's not like screaming at him will do anything.
Bad decisions, sure. I get annoyed at people for dumb decisions all the time, usually after trying to calmly discuss the decision the first few times it's relevant. Sometimes they change their minds. Sometimes I can at least hope that they might do something different in their next game. If they're just bad at lasthitting or laning or whatever, though, there's nothing they can change in the space of the game, so I don't see much to be gained from yelling at them.
Also, tbh, if I'm an OD against that lineup I think I just give up on life. If he's silenced he's useless, and he's up against bloodrage, word, global and doom. BKB gets him out of a lot of those, sure, but if doom's competent he'll just let someone else silence you and save ult for OD's bkb. OD's also probably going to eat rupture through BKB, so between them they definitely qualify as counters.

Some people just never want to be happy. We're up 40-18, up 2 raxes, and the game is 100% in the bag. This one guy still manages to find a way to rage at every little thing that doesn't go his way. I can't fathom what it's like if the game is even with this guy on your team.

How hard is it to just fucking stun as ES in an aggressive trilane against SPECTRE AND CM? This fucking guy kept holding his fissure and letting them get into trees and fog us, over and over, and used the reasoning "if i missed it then you'd whine at me"
We have a 3 stun trilane, Sven, Lesh and ES. When Sven isn't in range to initiate, ES fucking initiates. Not to mention both Sven and ES had soul rings, and were afraid to fucking spam their stuns against a CM AND SPECTRE DUAL LANE.
They both had the audacity to blame me for the trilane losing. What the fuck is wrong with people?
