Yes. Being known does not make you right.
BkB is an expensive items that gives very little on top of the magic immunity. If it was so OP, everyone would get it every single game, but the truth is that only the carries and gankers get them, because they are usually dependant on their right click damage, and need the bkb to be able to dish out that damage longer. A storm with bkb is nice, and in certian situations you really need it if the enemy have too much cc. But its in no way "oh, I got this item, ggnore boring game".
Jakiro doesn't do anything to anyone in bkb, no. Against that one person who has a bkb on the enemy team. Meanwhile you lit the ground aflame, making the job of everyone else on the enemy team really hard, up to the point that maybe everyone on your team can 5v1 their carry because he's the only one who can get close.
Jes, Jakiro is predictable and have long cast time. But in return his spells are insanely strong. If bkb wasn't in the game, he would have to be nerfed to a boring hero with no practical abilities so the carries would stand any chance in this game at all. This is why bkb brings more depth to the game, not less. If you dislike playing Jakiro, then I have an idea for you: don't play him.

Him getting BKB and then winning proves nothing, even if he talks about how power it is. He could have won for any number of reasons and the BKB could just be the nail in the coffin. I have gotten butterfly and won games too, but that doesn't make the item bad. You can still catch people off guard, when they don't have their BKB on. Also the BKB is not effect in the late game, as its timer goes down as it is used.

The importat part is wether the effect is blocked, and an icon for that would be confusing.

A 4 stack instalocking storm, lifestealer, treant and prophet. They picked within a few seconds, they just planned this lineup.
If you want to be that tryhard can't you just go play CM or something. It's not like it's an impossible to draft lineup and it wouldn't be such a one sided stomp. But no, good opponents so scary.

THIS!
I love Furion.
I go for Basilus-> Midas -> Threads -> Shadow Blade -> Sheep/Orchid (depends on game)-> Daedalus/Desolator (depends on game) -> Profit!
Usually I do for jungle, but there are times where I need to keep the other carry in check in lane. Usually because of abandoned lane or someone wants to go in the jungle (usually with a hero not suited to do so, like Naix). Or sometimes it is a 4 stack and there is no Mid, so I need to keep mid in check, and it is usually awful. When I'm solo lane on either hard or easy, no problem. Even against most Heroes I have no problems solo lane. Even against a tri-lane full of disables, it really is not THAT hard. You usually farm much slower than on the jungle, but at least you slow down their carry, and you can catch up pretty quickly when you have level 3+ trees and tp.
I was seeing that on my Furion matches either we lose, or we win with FULL T1 towers, maybe one fallen tower.
I usually die more than the rest of the team, but I keep the lanes so pushed up that the enemy has a hard time farming and it opens space for my carries to farm. On top of that, without tower money their supports starve and stay squishy throughout the game.
AND, even when my team's carry is bad, Furion with a lot of farm can carry quite well.

First game in compendium matchmode after a few days of watching SC2 events (HSC, Red Bull, WCS). Get the radiant team and picked LD. Other than jug, my other 3 teammates had to be the biggest idiots. Rubick and KOTL feed 0-3 and 0-4 the first 10 minutes to Bane and Razor (yes I'm talking about a dual lane vs dual lane in a compendium match), Naix goes jungling in the beginning because Rubick said he wanted to play carry. Naix dies once to creeps then gets ganked by QoP because we had no wards. Naix afk's after bottom lane Rubick and KOTL fail horribly. Everyone except Rubick leaves.
I resisted the temptation to report Naix and Rubick, but that was one of the biggest waste of 20 minutes of my time ever and had to do it in the end, just because I could *sign to fix the damn report system and the mm system. Was 100 BP's away from another item, but the match length only made me get 90. Pieces of shit allies, mm system surely is terrible at judging opponents and allies skill level

I know what you mean...I've played 12 games on Prophet and won seven of them but basically none of them were down to me and I usually just feed.
I don't even know whats wrong, its by FAR one of my worst heroes despite the winrate.

well, I just won two games after a 10~ loss streak.
First game - play support, my team (fully russian) utterly rapes the other lanes and the game ends up like...60-12 in 30 minutes. With the exception of an early gank of mine, they might as well had won by themselves (not to mention I let up first blood)
Second game - play sole carry (kunkka), this time my teammates speak english but they're all cunts. I bought the courier, upgraded it, bought the wards and tp'd whenever a teammate got dived on (I was the only one carrying a TP). How did I win then, you ask? easy - as bad as my team was, the other team was much, much worse.

So I just had an AR game where we randomed void and AM on our team. They both decided going brown boots--->battlefury was the only reasonable course of action against the obvious facerush lineup the other team randomed. Guess how that worked out.
|
Playing as Warlock with a Sven, Sand King, Shadow Shaman and Doom. We're up against Jakiro, Drow, Mirana, Ogre Magi and Bristleback. We have much better teamfight with our ulties and Sven, so we win every time it's 5vs5. Doom has sick farm, Hand of Midas, Radiance and Cuirass by like 30 minutes.
Sounds easy right? Except no one has tp scrolls besides me and the Shadow Shaman so we trade Rosh for not 1 but 2 rax (wtf?) and when we win another teamfight and push mid, 2 people go bot, all 3 try to backdoor and we only get 1 set of rax before people don't backout and they wipe inside enemy base .
It really was so obvious when we needed to fight and not; aka whenever our ultimates where up or not. But still people do whatever, split up all the time and let the Mirana splitpush us to death. Really frustrating loss

tbh if only am got bfury and split pushed (also has to be a decent am with positioning/map awareness) as they facerushed a tower/lane and void just got mael/treads and joined fights with his ult, you guys might've had a chance.
with a decent chrono and aoe/stuns in your team, couldve've traded t1/t2 towers and just wait for am to own them later as they're 4-5manning most of the time to facerush you guys
edit: holy crap grammar was terrible

Me and friends have been forced into so many ap games because of bad experiences with people who are just terrible drafters

last 2 games, sven feeds 4 deaths bot, comes top and starts fighting clinkz for last hits.
2nd game, 2 frat boys probably sophomores in college or something. complain about the sniper pick in random draft and say we need more "damage" so he picks razor cause sniper can do anything but do damage, amiright? then the 2nd of this retard stack picks timbersaw when I was already going to offlane wr timbersaw and razor then proceed to feed endless amount of kills to the other team while blaming everyone else. they then say they don't give a shit about comm bans because they're playing on smurfs. other team then joins in and starts harassing us 3. I am literally *this* close to fucking quitting dota and this fucking shitty-ass community with its retards and griefers and failures.
SC2 is starting to look REAL good now even if I would have to play against widow mines and hellbats.
