But when your carry PA gets a 30 minute BF and your Bane has Bracer and half way to Agahim at the same time( no wards bought, no other items), you can't help but wonder "why" Yes, you're going to play with people who are worse than their opponents and will thus struggle in a game. Sometimes those people will be on your team. Getting mad at those people is implying you've never been the weakest player on a team or had a shitty game. This implication is complete bullshit 100% of the time, so flaming those players makes you a huge hypocrit. Next time you get mad at teammates just think, there's thousands upon thousands of players higher up the bracket that have the ability to make you look like a complete fool if you get matched vs them

I don't mind imperfect play. I'm perfectly aware that I fuck up more than a few times and I will gladly link you to games where I got raped in the ass and yet my team carried me anyway. I don't flame people either, it's a useless effort. Flaming 'bad' people is about as useful as yelling at fruits to grow faster, and flaming assholes is...well, useless, since they revel in 'trolling'. The problem is that when I hop on to Dota, I don't expect to play with people who are completely unaware of how the game plays. I didn't appreciate it at the time, but SC2's matchmaking made it so that you were -always- matched against people your skill level - which is all I'm asking for, a match with even skills. I know Dota has too many factors for matchmaking to be successful, but when I'm teamed up with a PA that has freefarm and ends the game at 35 minutes with a poor man shield and phase boots, I'm allowed to QQ that my team wasn't up to par. Post game, obviously. Telling the PA she can't last hit worth shit won't help after we've already lost. (or as shown in this link sing sing's words of wisdom

2 people picks ursa and Pudge right away. Doesn't say a word. I pick medusa and say "safe lane", thinking I'll take the role as hard carry. Nope! Ursa pings like a mad man, and runs to the bottom lane. He keeps pinging as we chat, so presumably he's muted. Slark goes with me top, and starts autoattacking. We also feed first blood right away.. Call me a bad loser, but I took the immediate abandon instead.

(or as shown in this link sing sing's words of wisdom Problem is starcraft has 3 races, dota has 100 heroes. People will naturally be better with some heroes and suck with others, which makes the idea of anything resembling a perfect matchmaking inherently flawed unless everyone plays the same few heroes over and over. I wasnt really directing my post at you, just saying that in general people need to ease up on the flaming and accept that mediocre players will land on ur team every now and then. We re all new at one point. When i first started i used to consider it a success getting 15 last hits as a carry by 10 minutes.

Happily once she had that up she WAS pretty much murdering everyone (crits pretty good, hey) but until she got up to BKB...just dying to everything. Pudge and Viper ended up carrying most of the midgame. I was underfarmed and playing poorly on CK so couldn't do much.

If you feel the PA honestly doesn't seem to know that last hitting is important on a carry, you can go ahead and tell the player that, hoping to make them better, but honestly, the odds of that being the case is very low. The player probably knew he did badly in the farm department, and is either bad at it trying to get better, or just isn't giving a fuck. In either case, you saying anything didn't help anyone. Personally, I don't bother. I focus on my own play and what I do wrong, which is more than enough to keep me occupied. If other people play badly, that's their business. If you want to be vocal in helping your team, do it constructively and minimally. "You probably shouldn't get item X because they have hero Y and Z which it isn't effective against. Item A is is probably better in this case." Whining on people during and especially after games is meaningless.

Repeat this about 4-5 times. Like i am pushing a lane out where our raxes are down, and they all go for a push at bottom while i am halfway across the map, and wipe. This happens as said several times and eventually enemy Tiny gets fed into oblivion and i can no longer outcarry him. They just made an effort to fight without me despite having 0 dmg to do so. Odd as hell since everyone but huskar was playing very solid otherwise.

Battlefury is pretty important in pub games to ensure you can flash farm whenever you need to in case your team starts getting behind and you need to supercarry them.
