Ahah enough dota for me today i tried a last game with slark, ennemy team was bane/void/zeus/invoker/leshrac. Sounds relatively terrible on paper but it made life hell for me. Chrono can kill me easily (reveals+stun), zeus w gives true sight in fight so my ult is basically useless and bane disables me.
I tried getting orchid but was not able to make anything happen with it as they played as 4 with void farming, and I got it too late to be able to kill void during the orchid duration.
edit: and i continue my descent into the trench of matchmaking.
Now our batrider, that start the game with an urn loses mid to an antimage. meanwhile my colaner silencer auto attacks the wave.
They all talk in russian in teamchat.

Nature's prophet has to be the most annoying hero. (well I guess Nyx is worse but he's a close second)
When he's on your team you have this moronic cliff jungler contributing absolutely nothing, actually less than nothing because his ult is preventing you from getting any farm from the lanes and half the jungle. When he's on the other team you're the one constantly forced to go back and defend because buying tps is hard. And then 30 minutes later he's six slotted and rapes everyone.

oh well geez our team looks pretty not toooooo terrible with sven/skele king/SD/dazzle/Es... i guess we coulda used a mid but fine sd mid not the worst thing in the world. dazzle sven goes 2-0 to necrolyte visage in 5 min -_- lost bigggggg for the rest of game

Ive bought a new set for my NP, and all Ive been doing lately was picking him and doing exactly as you described. Split pushing and forcing TPs, then eventually I get into 6-slot while other team is dry from farm. It eventually gets to the point where I just need someone else from my team to meatshield for me and I can solo kill the entire team.

came back from a 2 month break...pick Slark, first time playing him (single draft). I die 4 times early since I'm rusty, tired and against a fucking TRILANE for some reason.
Rest of my team (which really isn't that amazing) starts telling me stop feeding that I'm and idiot and so on and so on. I didn't let it get to me, kept playing and we ended up wrecking them 45-15 (I only died once more in the next 35 minutes)
I know I had a really shitty start but the rest of my team weren't playing well either. Drow was losing farm vs Dusa in mid (seriously how, it's the worst hero in the early game) and Pudge was solo safe lane farming...for some reason. "I can't mid vs Viper", but that didn't stop them from absolutely wrecking me in team chat. How the hell is blaming&cussing me helping the team effort? (guess who tp'd to help and bought nearly all the wards, too). I didn't have that much fun despite winning.
next game, random draft...guess who has the play 5th position support? yep, me. Team was nice and communicated well this time around but they, uhh...weren't that good. Our 1st Gyro (who died to really stupid ganks a lot) rushed a fucking Agahim (and by rushed I mean got it at 25~ minutes), and then...just nuked random creepwaves everywhere on the map.
The only words he said during the entire match were at the last few seconds after the ancient was taken, in cryllic. ;_;

First:
Enemy Pudge left beacuse apparently to many pings.
Second:
My team Slardar left because Skywrath ulti is retarded, you runaway from one and he comes back with another 4 seconds later. It was around 8-10 minutes into the game.

Dunno why there is so much hate against Dusa I recently tried her and she quickly became my "I would like to win sometimes" hero. With that being said I cant see drow wining mid vs dusa, dont know what she was doing on mid anyway.

Drow actually has a fairly shitty attack animation whereas Dusa's is pretty good imo. Drow herself isn't that strong either against ranged early game imo. In a passive lane its reasonable enough for Dusa to win

Solo Match Making is so bad haha. I only played 1, but already we had dudes fighting over whos mid and constant childish banter for the first 10 min. Haha, back to normal match making where I just got thrown in stacks vs stacks, much more fun imo.

Despite that you kept up with my team somewhat on kills, you were never able to take down a tower. You fought really well, I have to say that, but you were never able to get a tower.

I've seen all kinds of crazy stuff within E-Sports, I've won 4v5 50-16 in Dota2 and I have had a couple of victories in Street Fighter with literary one pixel life left to know that it ain't over until it's really over. And in Dota, it ain't over until the ancient falls.

there is a surrender option for 5-stacks, you all just disconnect (without leaving) and the game ends. Imo this is a reasonable "secret" surrender option

I think this game desperately needs a surrender option. I've had a few of comebacks and instances of the other team "throwing" but the time wasted while waiting for a no hope game to end while opposite crystal maiden farms her rapier just outweighs the whole thing. This is true while even winning, your teammates never push cause they want more gg items...
the sad part is you cant even do anything else cause of the disconnect rules. If your playing with limited time (maybe 1-1.5 hours a day, it just totally sucks to have wasted a majority of the time).
The solution would be to create multiple accounts and leave games that are dragging, but a neater surrender option would be so much better.
