I dont exactly think Dendi is the only major influence in dota; thank god.. or else this game would end up like SC2 did in 2011-2012 after all the IdrA/Tastosis fanaticism which made the public think any "attack" under 45 minutes was an all-in.

Haha yeah, he is probably just having a bad day, but that game was hilarious - first he lost mid to a batrider who he was calling stupid and too predictable (because he was lucky, of course!) then he went with a wacky one-shot-combo build, died a few times in a row trying to kill someone with it, still almost got carried by his team to victory and in the end he says "I need a better team if I am going to play invoker" :D

Single draft. Teammates pick Shadow Fiend, Brew Master, Weaver, Timbersaw. I go Leshrac. Shadow Fiend goes bot, Brew goes top... leaving Weaver to mid. I am supporting Brew against Sven/Bat Rider. Brew lets himself get EIGHT stacks of napalm. Dies over and over again. Meanwhile mid Weaver goes 0-4 against Silencer mid by like 8 minutes. I can't tell Brew's build by then because he has died so much, but then I realize he is going Battle Fury... and I completely give up on the game. Brew finished the game at just Battle Fury and brown Boots at 35:00. Weaver had Poor Man Shield and Wand.

Don't we all just love the people that says "mid or I'll feed", then when they get mid they feed anyway. Don't understand how our pudge could be that bad with 1k games and pudge as most played hero...

I really think he's always been like that. And then he'll like go on twitter and write something about how the dota community is mean or some dumb shit.

I met a guy who played PL in >99% of his games. I went through 19 pages of his match history and found fewer than 10 games that were not PL.
How could you do that without going insane?

Holy shit, why do people report for ANYTHING? I just had some illiterate South American spamming me all game, and he somehow convinced 2 of the other team to report me, for nothing.
He played Slark and forced our Void to jungle at level 1 instead of going to botlane with WR, and constantly spammed text chat. Yet I get put into LPQ because the other team believed that idiot that I was the one spamming team chat.

Admittedly, weaver vs. silencer is a pretty rough lane. 0-4 is a bit excessive, but it was never going to end well.

During these situations, its always best to just stay quiet and mute them. Its unlikely that the opposing team would report you unless you were speaking just as much as the instigator.

That's the most annoying part, I said like 2 things in allchat after he spammed "report tinker noob," etc.
That game really makes me want to quit Dota altogether. I'm in the high-ish end of Very High MMR, and I still get teammates like that.

I got sick of the skill difference between teams in pubs. I also hate when MM system tries to pulls me back to % 50 which I am above it for months. I was there to say 'you are where you are belong' shit but recently give my thoughts to air to disappear. Since Bristle patch, my overall fun and team compositions are down to ground, I don't want to play anymore. Last 6 games are loss and every game there is like a 1-10 feeder on my team. It already passes the coincidence point more than enough.
I'll uninstall the game if it goes like this.

A lot of people (even more than usual [wow]) are posting that they've lost a lot in a row, and me and all my friends have lost a ridiculously large pct. of games lately. I know it has to be coincidence, but I just keep wondering where are these folks with the huge win streaks? They must exist, cuz they have all of mine.

People have been posting about the MM system being worse than it used to be and about losing streaks for a long time. The fact that you are on one right now probally makes it stand out more for you. It's just the nature of people winning games not complaining about it while the losing side does.

Commend/Report chat spam is out of control. Valve making begging for commends/reports a reportable offence would be the best thing to happen to this game.

I make a point of never commending people who ask, even when I would have done so if they'd just stayed quiet. That's my little rebellion.
I don't mind being asked to report people. Sometimes it does take a 10-man effort to LPQ a player that really deserves it. I'd only do it for mid-or-feed guy, though. If someone's just taking flak from their team for being noob, I'm more likely to report the ragers.

I've won a good number in a row, or a good chunk. 11 of my last 14. Mind you, when that started, I was 16 games under 50%. So, it averages out over time.
