Playing support and being picked out as the first in every fight as the first because you are so squishy. Weaver just randomly runs through the whole team and eats you. Pudge rather hooks the support than the carry. Have nothing after 40 minutes except for wards, 2 bracers and healing boots, get flamed for being a "useless feeder shit" and for not supporting :-/ I never want to play support in pubs ever again. You get focused, die, none of your mates care. Flames incoming! | ||

Judging from the scorescreen looks like you did fine, especially considering the fact that you most probably get picked off first in team fights so those assist counts compensate your overall performance (to some certain extend). But i'd say maybe you made some mistakes of your positioning but then you played CM, we all have been there xD And you know who is the hardest support to master in DotA (imo)? CM. One mistake and you are dead. And the next thing you know you are feeding the opponent team. Pad on your back bro. I on the other hand has decided to stop completely on playing support since yesterday. I am done with supporting xD | ||

Funny how most pubs don't seem to know smoke exists. I have a smurf I use to play with people I know that are not that good, so the win rate on that account is quite high. Then last night I queued with someone who was actually good and ended up in a strange game. Enemy Lina + CM do a great job roaming, getting kills and shutting down our mid, and once the first night hits ITS NIGHT STALKER TIME BABY! We get torn to pieces, only managing to turtle since I play KotL so good luck pushing T3 no matter how ahead you are. Meanwhile we have a Void. 12 min Midas followed by a 30-ish min Bfury. It is ok though, we got a Mag and a good RP -> Chrono + Illuminate is all we need to win fights. Except the Void is straight up bad. Mag gets a 5 man RP, but Void stands on the edge doing nothing with full health and mana. We turtle for 7-8 more minutes, Mag gets a good 4-man RP and this time Void is on the ball... except the enemy Windrunner shackles just as someone was teleporting in and latches both that guy and the Void. Game Over! Why was the game strange? Because it was actually enjoyable. Knowing you got a Mag and better lategame really helps keep morale up. | ||

You can either shut up and don't bother (high road) or you can whine (easier). For instance a player picks support, which is cool and all. When you ask him politely to buy a courrier, his answer is: "Fuck off you buy it" or in better case: "Sorry i spent all my money". Or when you ask a support to get wards, so we don't get constatly ganked or we can actually kill that brood, bounty or even escaping pl. No, they just don't buy it cause they need more important items which helps them get 1 kill while our whole team is getting owned cause of no support. I am usually polite and manner, but Dota is just too much to handle in such a way sometimes. | ||

im seriously considering starting to play on USE only again, holy fuck why is the MM giving me always complete retards WHY DS GET AGHANIMS WTH the only support on the entire team the guy who shut down their anti mage early game the only one who bought wards the only one who begged for gem that he had to buy himself only to have the idiot doom lose it in the next fight the guy who couldnt even come CLOSE to the jungle because 4 morons were farming it for their stupid shitty useless items all game long and even if he could he would have the rest of the team just stroll by and steal the farm the first one to get focused first in teamfights i loathe this matchmaking man, i want to murder the person who fucking designed and coded that shit | ||

I think what Nixer is missing is that there's a difference between "making a mistake" and "being an idiot". A mistake is accidentally nuking a creep rather than the enemy hero who is running away. A mistake is doing like I did the other day and accidentally dropping both of your salves on yourself rather than on the Riki you're trying to heal (seriously man...don't stand so close and stand still for half a second will you?). A mistake is missing a Light Strike Array or Sunstrike. A mistake is misplacing a ward or forgetting to activate your pipe. Hell, a big mistake but still a mistake is accidentally hitting your own teammates with Chronosphere. Getting Spectre and buying no items because you want a fast ring of health is not a mistake. Building half a Vanguard into Vlad's on Antimage, totally skipping Battlefury, despite your allies suggesting a fast battlefury being a much better build-up is not a mistake. Competing with your hard carry for last hits and autoattacking the lane despite said carry asking you to please stop, at least stop the autoattacking, is not a mistake. A Warlock going 0-6-2 plus Brewmaster going 0-10-1 despite actually BEGGING them as Antimage to just stop feeding to give me a chance to outcarry them is not a mistake. These are all displays of wilful ignorance. Everyone screws up in games, thats a given even at high levels of play. But what is utterly unacceptable is not learning from those screw-ups. Getting caught out of position once and dying is a mistake. Wilfully going into the opposing jungle half a dozen times in a row as a 4 whilst your Phantom Lancer is farming your own jungle and getting destroyed over and over, heavily feeding the other team, is NOT a mistake. My mm experience is pretty good. i suppose this is a solution....next game was a 1-14 kotl with a dagon and 1-8 or 9 tinker who fed pudge 3 kills mid and got bots around 30ish minutes bots and a bottle, thats what he had he got a null talisman around 40 minutes as well i dunno....fuck it, im off to us east servers, the game is literally unplayable if you solo queue on eu. no idea what the fuck happened mb MM changes mb a lot of new people to the game? its been abysmal for the last couple of days, at least for me edit- nop, same shit. nicer people, but still vanguard bat, doom bringer with zero farm MEANWHILE ON THE ENEMY TEAM | ||

Because the basic knowledge of the people playing these games is absolutely disgusting. Just flat out unacceptable. I'm hardly a great player. But I don't get Treads on Tinker and I generally manage to avoid feeding the opposition NINE on Luna. | ||
