i was like an old woman while looking for a new mouse recently has to have this, has to have that, etc
in the end i got too tired and said i would one day buy them all
the truth is, any mouse is good as long as you like its style and it doesn't get on your nerves
hope you're not one of those people who worry about all that stuff though
better to just put up with things and learn to be indifferent/learn to appreciate what you have !
(abyssus for me btw, good buttons but weird/rough feel for a smaller mouse especially if your fingers tend to freestyle grip)

logitech g9x with precision grip for me though i also have a sidewinder x5 as backup, the sidewinder is just too light

Roccat Kova FTW!
I have the no hassle driverless version though, pretty happy with it. I find it comparable to the abyssus.
EDIT: typo

Questions for those that have a Logitech g9x, how is the build quality/durability? Thinking about getting it, but I use a laptop for work/gaming so I'd carry it in a laptop bag with me all the time, does it break easily?

I' still a fan of the G5!

Just put w.e mouse you get in a plastic container then into the laptop bag if you're going to worry about it. I've known people who broken their laptop screen while in the laptop bag so it's all a matter of how bad you are at taking care of things.

^good idea. I guess I was just asking about build quality in general/through regular use, like I've had friends who's deathadders broke quickly, stuff like that.

Razer Lachesis (old school 4000 dpi version). High dpi because I run at 6/11, never used the extra buttons except for fps and mmorpg's. (and vent)

Told myself I'd get a nice mouse when this cheap one broke.
That was like, 6 years ago. It may not be pretty, but I love it.
