And supposedly has a better cooler considering it's OC'ed That means for the same price or less the one from newegg has better value

Someone answered faster.

What is your current build? CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Ram: 8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (corsair veng) Power supply: Golden Green HX 550W Case: define r4 (without window) What is your monitor's native resolution? 1920x1080 (120hz) Why do you want to upgrade? What do you want to achieve with the upgrade? Currently struggling to run at 100+ fps with anything above medium settings in most games. Games include: WoW, Overwatch, Dota2, Tera online, though i will probably play more in the future. What is your budget? id like to keep it around 250-300eu, but im willing to stretch my budget if it's worth it. What country will you be buying your parts in? Netherlands. If you have any brand or retailer preferences, please specify. I dont. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Look for GTX 1060 or RX 480, and check game bundles to see if any game offered interest you For the games you play you don't need the higher VRAM versions, it really depends on what you think you might play later on.

the sapphire r9 fury is abit cheaper than the MSI 1060, but it also draws alot more power, and im not sure my power supply is good enough for it. (though supposedly its easy to undervolt)

(though supposedly its easy to undervolt) as long as your psu has enough connectors for the 480 i see no reason why 550W isn't enough, sure it draws maybe 50 more watts than the 1060 but your total pc power consumption will still be at like 300W max...

Well like i said you might want to consider 3Gb (4Gb for the 480) versions unless you plan on playing next gen games on ultra. By the time you get use of those 6Gb i'm not even sure those cards will even be able to handle high settings... It's only crucial for higher resolutions. I would just take the cheapest while taking overclocking into account. As for the fury, performance will definitely increase by a lot, and total power consumption should stay at around 400W so i think it's still ok although not perfect

I'd recommend the 1060 6gb over the 3gb as it's still within your budget. https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/572983/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1060-windforce-oc-6g.html

If you think playing next gen games on ultra is a possibility for you in the near future, take the 6gb. Don't expect the extra memory to change anything in 2+ years though, AAA games will crush a 1060 regardless. Your budget doesn't allow you to go for a 1070, doesn't mean you have to spend your entire budget on the new GC Bottom line is, decide between 3 and 6gb, then buy the cheapest you can find from EVGA, Asus, MSI or Gigabyte (i'm not super familiar with the other brands, experts here can add infos if they want :p)

Considering the small overclock and the 8 pin requirement instead of 6 i doubt it.

If you think playing next gen games on ultra is a possibility for you in the near future, take the 6gb. There were a small handful of new games the day i bought my 970 that exceeded 3.5GB of VRAM when maxed @1080p; that was over two years ago. Usually the heavy VRAM usage is in settings like textures that you can turn down, but it's something to keep in mind. Some of those settings do not affect the GPU usage much but rely heavily on memory capacity (textures ultra vs medium may see double the VRAM usage but no significant FPS change) sry for not replying to some previous stuff^
