Now that I do not have this facility, I wanted to see if I could bind one of my macro buttons to my 'mute microphone' hotkey on skype (Ctrl + Shift + Z). I have tried simply recording a macro for this but once I press the associated button it doesn't actually mute/unmute my skype. I'm at a loss for what I could do to rectify this, does anybody have an idea as to what I could be doing wrong?

You can try tweaking that to ensure that all keys are pressed at the same time in the macro. I've found that the recording function doesn't always provide the most reliable macro and that editing manually after recording can help. Yeah the same happens with my microsoft x6 keyboard. It's usually worth it to just adjust the delays and stuff of each key individually in order to stop things from going wrong. | ||
