All newer logitech mice have acceleration, The only logitech mouse worth getting is the 510/518 (but they have some pretty hefty prediction). CM Storm spawn, Deathadder, or one of the other razer mice that use the optical 3g sensor (avago optical). CM storm spawn is cheap, small, lightweight, an d has the newer avago sensor.
Stay away from any laser mouse, they are all trash as far as gaming is concerned. If you want to get a laser mouse and are okay with always have acceleration that cannot be disabled, just dont get a phillips twin eye sensor. where did you find out about these mice having acceleration? :O
Steelseries is pretty open about the fact their mice have acceleration quote from their website:
ExactAccel will accelerate your movements even faster in order for you to move across your game or page faster

DeathAdder is always a good choice. I used mine for quite a few years before I did something stupid and slightly messed up one of my side buttons. It still works but I can't press it down on the top side. Anyways, I still use it at school and it's as very solid pick

After going through the comments and thinking again, What do you guys think about the Cyborg R.A.T 7 mouse? It does not seem to have acceleration and looks good. Input please. =X

i just can't stand a big mouse, althought light and comfy like a deathadder, its just not that good for apm and micro in an rts game. Fast apm, a gm zerg player.
I have knizu its good and all but micro isn't perfect, its obviously good but not perfect. I tried the G1 logitech mouse, and it is similar length as kinzu but more lump, to fit into ur palm for that easy claw grip. It glides so well too, such good percision. Theres a reason why it was the most chosen mouse for sc n cs. Alot of pros still use it today.
Im trying to find a g1 logitech mouse. cyborg rat n g9 logitech have similar structure but just more expensive. my 2 cents.

Supposedly there are problems with the sensor. I don't actually know what they are.
Have a look around overclock.net for posts about the twin eye sensor.

I got a DeathAdder 9 months ago, awesome mouse. However, you guys are scaring me. What's all this about bad durability?

I tried looking around but seem to not get anything. =\ Any idea?

My current mouse is horrible for my hand and thats where I feel I should start at. I have seen most of the threads reagarding which mouse are the best for SC2 and stuff like that but most of them do not suit my hand cause it is huge. Like huge.
...
Options - Logitech G500 - Logitech G9 - Razer DeathAdder
Suggest a few. I am pretty new to this stuff and undecided. Would be great if you guys show your epic professionalism and do not, troll this tread and bring it out of the topic.
Thanks in advance. =D
If your hands are big, I'd steer clear of the G9, it is somewhat on the small side, even with the wider more palm-grip friendly shell. 82x109x37mm is as big as it gets.

Okay okay fine. All the negative feedback really does take an impact. No R.A.T nor Logitech mouse. I will try my hand at the Death Adder then. Seems like expansive mice does not mean great mice. Thanks alot guys. =D
Before I go and grab one, Mind recommending me a good mouse pad too. I really do need one.

I don't want to sound like a Razer rep but goliathus? I like mine.
But mousepads are just fabric and rubber, can't really go wrong.

I'm guessing branded mouse-pads don't wear out as easily as cheap ones. My mousepad is fraying at the edges, is sort of losing its colour But I guess it still works

=\ I want something that last and is very comfortable. Any ideas other than that?

If you have a huge hand, the Lachesis should do you fine.

The Xai and Sensei are fine, 99% of people won't even notice the acceleration or even get it. Only the ones who play at extremely low DPI/Sensitivies will, and this is a Starcraft site so that's not happening.
Even CS players use the Xai/Sensei now, the acceleration doesn't matter.
