Kinzu or Deathadder. One or the other.

I have been using the MX518 for like 6months now and I have no complaints when it comes to gaming with it.
fits my hand well with the palm grip.
Also very accurate even without any proper mouse pad.

I have a DeathAdder and I'm happy with it. No complaints.

i just ordered my 2nd Deathadder from newegg. i use it to play SC2 at home and i love it so much, that i want to use it at work as well. i also have a Mamba that i love, but it cost twice as much and is basically the wireless version of the Deathadder.

Good stuff guys, But alot of you seem to recommend the razer deathadder and I am pretty scared of razer. Alot of people are complaining about the quality and the stuff that gets on your hands after a long period of time. Any other suggestion than razer?

Problem is there is not many options outside of razer that will give a mouse that does not have acceleration. All steelseries mice have acceleration, which makes them horrendous for consistency. Idra uses a kinzu, but uses a small resolution so he's not as effected. For most people here, who will be gaming 1080p+ , steelseries mice SUCK. Xai has 5% positive acceleration and should be avoided at all costs.

All newer logitech mice have acceleration, The only logitech mouse worth getting is the 510/518 (but they have some pretty hefty prediction). CM Storm spawn, Deathadder, or one of the other razer mice that use the optical 3g sensor (avago optical). CM storm spawn is cheap, small, lightweight, an d has the newer avago sensor.

Stay away from any laser mouse, they are all trash as far as gaming is concerned. If you want to get a laser mouse and are okay with always have acceleration that cannot be disabled, just dont get a phillips twin eye sensor.

IMO Razer makes mice well, my deathadder feels top quality.
My razer headphones have some stupid shortcuts taken that ruin them, and Ive heard bad things about their keyboards.
Maybe mx518 if you really don't want to buy razer?

I love my mx518. It's good all around and fits perfect in my hand (Which may be a problem for you because i don't think my hands are that big). And i don't think the price is that bad, so thats my 2 cents...
You are entering the vicinity of an area adjacent to a location. The kind of place where there might be a monster, or some kind of weird mirror. These are just examples; it could also be something much better. Prepare to enter, The Scary Door.

Now, that was the kind of advice I was hoping for. Great stuff. CM Storm...... Looks pretty small .XD

Edit: Now, I am basically looking off this spreadsheet I found somewhere along the net.

Could somewhere actually explain to me what positive accleration does? =O

I personally use the Razer Deathadder and I love it. If you have big hands like me then you may find this just a bit uncomfortable but its about as nice as you are going to find for size. I think the biggest factor for games is the mouse pad you have with the mouse. I can play RTS games fine with my Razer mouse pad but I have to use a Steelseries mouse pad for FPS games because of the gliding.

The cursor will accelerate across the screen as you move it. So a set distance you move your mouse on the mousepad will not equate to a set distance on the screen.

I like the deathadder a lot. The driver gives you a lot of flexibility in configuration to make it feel best for you. I also like that it's an infrared mouse and adjustable DPI up to 3500.

I have a g500 and have rather large hands (i've never met anyone with larger hands than me lol) they are rather thin but long and it fits my hand very well. i was using the razer copperhead before and that was a rather good size also for me (copperhead was known to be big)

Don't get G500 or G9, they have build-in acceleration in their sensors (can't turn it completely off in the software/Windows).

deathadder is good for large hands and for having an all purpose mouse for all sorts of games. I recently changed from a deathadder to a zowie mico which i like more for rts but the deathadder is still better for fps and other sorts of games. I would recommend the deathadder if you like palm grip and want a good all-purpose mouse

I've looked around and it seems like I can't find a solid, reliable mouse that isn't full of stupid gimmicks that is a natural successor to something like the 518, but with higher dpi and driverless.

I guess the CM storm spawn is the closest thing to what I want, but it's so ugly

Woah, Hey drewbie. =\

And regarding the acceleration, I believe This Spreadsheet at the other section area, shows ~5% acceleration.

Back to topic again, Which mouse do you use? As in drewbie and why. =D
