Anyone got any idea what the pro (bigger) version of this keyboard is like compared to the smaller CM Storm Rapid? I'd prefer to get the latter with reds but it looks like they will be out of stock everywhere forever in the U.K. I'm guessing it's not based on the FILCO build which is why it's far easier to find these than the CM Storm rapid's in Reds.

But i got the Storm for 70€ so it was kind of a bargain, most other red switch big keyboards cost 100+€ here in germany.

Another person might like another type of switch. The problem with that sentence "I would only recommend Blues and Reds." is the word only. If you had just written "I would recommend Blues and Reds." it would be totally fine saying that. No offence taken i hope ![]() Yeah buddy! I loove the four common switches. I like some switches more than others Reds > Blues > Blacks > Browns. Browns last 'cause i'm brown.

I have contribute to this because I personally own the brown version of the CM Storm QFP. This is my advice; don't get it. You're better off getting the CM Storm Trigger instead. Why? I'll explain. CM Storm QFP: 1. Made by iOne 2. The keycaps are of poorer quality than the QFR series 3. Partial backlighting 4. This isn't true for all QFPs, but some do have an uneven high, so the keyboard wobbles a bit 5. Detachable USB cord routing is pretty bad. You can't route the usb cord coming out from the middle. CM Storm Trigger: 1. Still from CM Storm 2. Made by Costar 3. Full backlighting 4. The same price as the QFP if you find deals, which there are a few on at the moment 5. USB hubs (if you need them) 6. Detachable wrist rest (if you prefer them or not) 7. USB connection to power the keyboard is still funny even on the Trigger if you dislike it coming out from the right only.

Or perhaps which grease I should avoid? I'm searching for something particularly thick that will muffle any rattling of the metal bar part of a stabilizer, and will not creep away from the spot I've put it. The grease should also not change consistency if the room temperature gets very cold or very hot. Check here: http://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/search?q=lube&restrict_sr=on&sort=relevance And for Costar Stabilizers here is a Key removal and lube guide. http://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/109e0j/imgur_album_filco_with_whiteblackred_keys_in/

What I'm looking for: Tenkeyless Cherry MX Red switches Blank keycaps Black keyboard body and white keycaps If possible, scandinavian(danish) keyboard layout. Not stricly necessary, but would be nice. Hopefully not incredibly expensive or with shipping that equals the keyboard itself in price.

Try: Wasdkeyboards.com....... -- Supposedly by the end of the year they will release a TKL version. But they match all your above requests except I am unsure about the Scandinavian layout and shipping price. And from what I hear, everyone loves those keyboards, if you are willing to wait for the TKL version ~ Good luck

You can get them from WASD or ebay. Not sure how available danish layout is.

Seems like it's somewhat a confirmation of the fact that getting all of what I want in one keyboard isn't really possible, and that I'll have to buy and replace the keycaps myself afterwards unless WASD really do release a TKL version.

Many people have been asking about our upcoming V2 keyboard. Our original plan was to have the keyboard released in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, we had to make some last minute changes to the case. The target release date is now Feb/Mar of 2013. Link
