6500 at 3.2Ghz has a passmark score of 7005. You only need the fancier mobo if you want to overclock.

The one thing is more expensive for the one than the other. If you get the new one, you will have a newer mobo, so you can "upgrade" your system slightly better in a few years if warranted. IMO it's a stylistic choice. I am going to buy either a GTX 970 or R9 390. Any adivce on this part also? ![]() 300€ for GTX 970, 335€ for R9 390 + 1 game. Kinda the same issue. (cause more expansive in the end) Thank you for the help ![]()

why does a word 07 docx document lose its format when opened in my word 2010? note: the document was made on word 07 and viewed in 2010, not the other way around. my understanding is that any file made on an earlier version of word should open fine on a newer version, however in my case the original file is opened with a broken format (spacing etc)

and by view mode do you mean 'print layout', 'full screen' etc? because that doesnt work i think the problem is related to how the programs actually open the file. its just that in this particular situation i just dont see why it wouldnt open with the proper format like it should

Also there should be some kind warning or message when opening the file. What does that precisely say?

Is there a good mouse for SC2 (claw grip) currently available in Europe? Because I have read that 303's have rattling issues, Abyssus aren't really good for 2015 gaming (edit: and synapse 2.0 seems shit as fuck, messed up tracking a lot on my DeathAdder, so Razer seems a big nono nowadays)etc... So I'm a bit lost.

You did get a message the first time opening this file right? You probably clicked yes, without reading the message and then the document became all messed up. That message then never appeared again. Could this be correct? I'm not trying to accuse you or anything. This would however explain your current situation for 100%, thus is why I ask. Could you open the file in Word2010, then go to "File" --> "Options" --> "Advanced" --> Scroll all the way down and at the bottom there should be something like : "Format file as if it is made in :" (I don't have access to english office atm, so something similar). If this setting currently stands on Microsoft Word 2010, then change it to MS Word 2007. Does that change anything/resolve the issue? If that did not work, close all Office programs and then do this : Go to "Start" --> "Control Panel" --> "Programs" --> "Programs and Features" --> Find "Microsoft Office <yourversion> 2010" --> "Repair". Wait untill repair is finished and then restart your computer. This should solve a couple of possible issues, mainly any incorrect Word settings you might have (unknowingly) set wrong and all "first time prompts" should again prompt the question. Now open your file again and see what happens. If it comes up with a warning, read it carefully. It should be self-explanatory. If you're not sure what you should choose, just ask here again ![]() If all above doesn't work for your document, then it is a most likely problem in your particular document and it would need examining specifically to find the real solution.

i tried everything you said and nothing changed. no prompt even after the restart either its frustrating because this isnt the only document that has had this happen. its happened to 2 different documents, made by the same person on probably the same computer. maybe its the author's problem

The fact that you did all my steps, just ensures that the problem is not on your end (software-wise).

I want to run @ 4k. What do CPU/GPU need? If that's too expensive, what do I need to run @ max settings 1080p?

Some need a 10x faster graphics card for the same resolution and framerate. Some people want to keep 80+FPS at all times, others are happy with ~20-30ish like a console 4k is generally much more GPU bound than 1080p but a large part of that is because people tend to play 4k at much lower FPS

Upon doing some research I found Sc2 is not very GPU intensive, as say, CoH2. A single GTX 960 4GB can handle sc2 @ 4k (youtubed) but I can't expect the same results for other games. Good point to consider.
