Oh also the first computer you had there is overpriced in my opinion and not nearly as good of a deal but still not terrible. Bought that, I had not heard of the site before. Ended up paying bit more than I wanted but it's a lot better rig than I was looking for and should last me many years. Thanks for the assistance.

Radeon HD7970 and 7950 will be available in January. The 7970 should be available immediately on the 9th while the 7950 follows soon after. 7850 and 7870 won't be released until February or later. GTX 780 and likely 770 as well is sometimes in the first half of this year so most likely April / May.

It happens like this... I turn on my comp to play, w/e, etc. I'm surfing TL or FB or whatever, and open up the game. I'll sometimes have a stream going, sometimes not. And then the game (either SC2 or DotA 2) will start to lag. I minimize and sure enough, no web pages refresh, the connection is lost. I wait to see if it will reconnect. If it does, everything starts working as normal until it happens again. If it's like just now, the whole router loses connection and I can't access the internet from multiple devices (xbox, iPod touch, comp). My dad says it occasionally happens to him when he watches a CNBC stream or the like. Can anyone help identify/fix the problem? It's super annoying to be living in freaking modern as hell southern California with good internet speed and to have a unstable connection.

But if there's something wrong about your connection to your ISP, there's not much that we can say. Call your ISP to get it checked out.

I think we have Cox, which is a provider in my area (south orange county, CA). But we have a ~20Mb/s i think so maybe its DSL? I'm not really sure. Idk how to check a modem page either.

F1 allows you to select an idle worker. Holding the two together allows you to select ALL idle workers. This used to work for me, now it doesn't. Anyone have any idea why? Both keys still do their own thing, they just don't work together.

My laptop is a HP pavillion Dv6-2120tx. The sites that i have found are these. Have any of you's ordered a battery from http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/au/en/ho/WF06c/A1-329290-329223-329260-329260-3896208-3726901.html These sites are like the offical sites but costs so much and the reviews don't seem that good. or http://www.hp-laptop-batteries.com.au/hp-pavilion-dv6-battery.htm or http://www.hplaptopbattery.com.au/hp-pavilion-dv6-2120tx-battery.htm These two are what i found using google and seem better than the first link. Any thoughts? Should i go safe and go with the official one? Btw i am in Australia currently ^.^ editted out a link

Just saying but at a normal configurator you can add a second spare battery for 20-50$ depending on the build so that should give you a decent idea of what to look for. I can't comment about how legit the other sites are o wow thanks! Lol i don't even have an idea how much these stuff cost. thanks imma keep looking

This is the one i got: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-5000/hd-5770/Pages/ati-radeon-hd-5770-overview.aspx EDIT: I see now that the card is so old, nobody even sells it anymore, but my question still stands: How do I know if the GFX card will fit into my comp?

Also as long as your motherboard isnt ancient any new card will also be compatible with it. However, I would recommend against purchasing another 5770 as the new 7xxx are due to release this and next month. While I am by no means suggesting you by a $550 flagship model, it might be intelligent to see what happens. There is nothing wrong with going from a 5770 to another 5770, but I think bumping up to another card might yield better bang for the buck. We're all in a "wait and see" mode right now. AMD/ATI is in the middle of releasing new 28nm technology and 40nm is long in the teeth.
