I have the Sensei, and it's awesome.
I also own a Deathadder Black Edition, but the Sensei shits all over it for comfort.

Worst mousewheel for games I've ever encountered, but mouse itself is excellent. Get 400 instead and save some money. That said, good mousewheel for surfing, scrolling down huge threads and pages in miliseconds.

The Kana was looking awesome because i use MS IE 1.1 at the moment and the Kana is ment to be 1.1 v2 i guess but since the Kana seems to have some issues what mouse do you guys recommend? Since i've been using MS 1.1 for like forever, it's hard to change mouse, i've tried Xai but it felt so plastic and the sensor was shit tbh. And btw i'm using palm grip.

The Sensei and it's 9500 sensor do have an extremely high malfunction speed, but on the other hand an extremely low perfect control speed. This is due to the fact, that even at relatively slow movements the acceleration of the 9500 starts to kick in - you essentially no longer have "perfect control" in that case (poofie seems to have experienced that). The high malfunction speed of the Sensei isn't that important for SC 2, where most players use fingertip grip and just don't swipe their mouse with all the power of their arm over their giant mousepad reaching 2 m/s and more. Most SC 2 players won't even reach 1 m/s - although this is enough to trigger the acceleration of the 9500 sensor. If you are interested as to what movement speeds you reach during the game, download the Enotus mouse test. First thing you have to do is click "Start" on the Resolution tab, then move your mouse 10 cm while holding down a button. Now you can click "Start" in the tab Speed and play a few games and check the value of "Max speed" after you're done. In the near future (the Logitech G900 might be the first) there will be mice with the Avago ADNS-9800, the successor to the 9500. The only differences I know of are that the CPI now is 8200 (compared to 5000 with the 9500) and CPI steps are now possible in increments of 200 CPI (and not 90 CPI, like in the 9500). It seems likely, that the acceleration problems will still be present with the 9800.

And I've had the Logitech G7, the Logitech MX518, the Microsoft Sidewinder x8 and tried out other top of the line mice (Razer Diamondback, Lycosa, Mamba etc)." made me chuckle.

Kana's good to go except for the shitty plastic feet. The sensor issues have been fixed, I think that the reports of the sensor issues are from people who bought the earlier batch, if you notice from the reports on overclock.net they bought the Kana pre-release, so it was probably the beta build, because according to a lot of people who bought the mouse after it released from bigger retailers they didn't have the mouse jump bug. I own a kana and I don't have the mouse jump bug as well.

http://www.overclock.net/t/1168062/evaluation-steelseries-sensei-56k-warning Personally, I'd never buy the Sensei - but for the same reason I wouldn't buy mice from most brands. I've become totally spoiled with the right side ledges of super-ergonomic mice like the Mionix Naos series. But that's not an issue for most people.

Neither feature insane DPI though so if you NEED 3600 DPI for whatever reason, I dunno heart monitor, then these wont work. Although I dont think you can adjust the DPI on the intellimouse, which leaves just the MX 518 in my eyes. I think the G500 and the G400 continue the legacy though.

Used all kinds of mice & honestly the least of my worries was dpi, the biggest worry was accel. and don't get me wrong i'm not attacking you, just adding this to what you said.

So does every single mouse in existence. Point? Prediction is a necessity or the mousing experience is awful as the cursor jumps at every thread.
