Nice to hear someone in Canada got theirs ok though.

As someone who uses USPS to ship (because Priority Mail Flat Rate kicks ass), what this means is that your postage label was paid on October 19th, 2010 - this is the "electronic notification" they are discussing. Either they used Click-N-Ship, or for large shippers a service like Stamps.com et al is more likely.

Your shipment has yet to be given to a US Post Office as of October 21st (because they update nightly). I would expect to see your shipment be scanned sometime tonight in all likelihood.

Put the package on packagetrackr.com and sign up for email notifications on a free account- PackageTrackr will then email you as soon as it starts moving, when it's out for delivery, and when it's delivered/a delivery exception occurs.

International shipping may be a little bit different. I've gotten registered Air Mail from overseas and the customs status was shown, but for outgoing packages there may be a scan delay.

Either way, USPS tracking is kind of shitty. Don't fret just yet.



UPS and FedEx charge insane brokerage fees and generally higher package fees on any package. Any other shipping option would probably be greater than the cost of the keyboard.
