I linked you everything on the last page complete with instructions on how to tweak it. Sending an email is the best we can do but Im confident you can add the items on the last page yourself. That kit of Pareema's arent available now. Replace with a similar set.

I'll answer the questions that are required of me as well: What is your budget? 200$ maximum. What is your resolution? I'm not sure but I usually play in windowed mode with the screen set to the smallest size. What are you using it for? Purely SC2. When do you plan on building it? Within 2 weeks. Do you plan on overclocking? No. Do you need an Operating System? No. Do you plan to add a second GPU for SLI or Crossfire? No. Where are you buying your parts from? I live in Canada. I'll most likely be buying my parts online for very low shipping. Much Regards! EDIT: I also have a Tiger Direct store nearby and thus far these two options have caught my eye: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7361450&CatId=31 http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3988386&CatId=2628

You're asking for someone to put together a $200 rig with no hit to performance...? I can't tell if you're serious or not.

And what is there isnt very good either. These are barebones kits. Old ones too. Hence the price. If you want to play SC2 well the barrier of entry is at least $300 depending on your tastes and what you consider to be with no lag or graphical interruptions that would stem from the hardware itself. This has no numerical value to me. Could be $300, could be $700. But $200 is not going to happen unless I really stretch what you want to mean something different.

Your reply lacks substance and any value my friend. All I wanted was this thread's respected contributors to put their minds together and figure out a way to fit at least 100 fps (or the ability to smoothly play the late game) into a 200$ box. Simple as that, there is no need whatsoever to be angry or hateful.

Blizzard considers 20 FPS as perfectly playable and their minimum specifications gets you like 10 FPS. And they are fine with that. But I dont think you are. Sorry the barrier of entry is so high. $200 isnt going to work. $300 and we may be able to put something together. It won't be 100FPS but it will more than likely be enjoyable. Is $200 a hard limit? Maybe we have some parts to work with? Optical drives, hard drive, case maybe? If you want you MAY be able to find some used computers on craigslist for $200 but I would highly caution against that.

Here's about what you can buy for $200: Intel Celeron G540 - $49 http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=63934 Gigabyte H61M-DS2H - $50 http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=73210&promoid=1296 Corsair 1 x 2GB DDR3 RAM - $11 http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=39572 Hitachi Deskstar 500GB - $50 http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=57878&promoid=1296 Cooler Master Elite Power "460" - $30 http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=44248&promoid=1296 On a low resolution, the integrated graphics can kind of run the game acceptably on lowest settings. That's a last-gen 2.5 GHz dual core, significantly faster than the dual cores of the generation that the 8800 GTX comes from. For a case, use a cardboard box. And get the game digitally; install OS through a flash drive.

Also an 8800GT might not actually be a bad idea here. You can find them easily for like $20 on ebay.

May I ask what this lacks exactly in regards to being able to run a CPU-dependent game like SC2 at around 100 fps?: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7361450&CatId=31 I laughed out loud at the cardboard box part :D Is the graphics card above integrated or could I get a better one at a later time when I have the funds?

The Celeron config's CPU and integrated GPU are both not nearly fast enough for 100 fps; that will just be worse. On both, you can add a dedicated graphics card later, but the CPU will still be too slow for whenever the action ramps up, unless you're fine with massive frame drops.

As for 100 FPS. We dont have the technology to run the game at 100 FPS all game long, it hasnt been invented yet. 100 FPS for MOST of the game? Yeah we can do that, but generally speaking its about the minimums that people care about.

Clock speed isnt everything. I think maybe you are thinking that clock speed is the only thing a processor does?

SC2 can be run pretty much on max at $500. What you could do is get like a $350 pc without a graphics card, capable of playing sc2 on low, and add in a ~$120 when you save the money.
