After going through some wc3 codes as well as recalling the classic 'power overwhelming,' I'm really curious as to what witty and current colloquisms blizzard can scrounge up.
here are the old codes
WC3: TenthLevelTaurenChieftain - Plays a special song (WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne ONLY)
WarpTen - Speeds construction of buildings and units
IocainePowder - Fast Death/Decay
WhosYourDaddy - God mode
KeyserSoze [amount] - Gives you X Gold
LeafitToMe [amount] - Gives you X Lumber
GreedIsGood [amount] - Gives you X Gold and Lumber
PointBreak - Removes food limit
ThereIsNoSpoon - Unlimited Mana
StrengthAndHonor - No defeat
Motherland [race] [level] - level jump
SomebodySetUpUsTheBomb - Instant defeat
AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs - Instant victory
WhoIsJohnGalt - Enable research
SharpAndShiny - Research upgrades
IseeDeadPeople - Remove fog of war
Synergy - Disable tech tree requirements
RiseAndShine - Set time of day to dawn
LightsOut - Set time of day to dusk
DayLightSavings [time] - If a time is specified, time of day is set to that, otherwise time of day is alternately halted/resumed
SC:
Power overwhelming - God Mode
Show me the money - Gives you 10,000 gas and 10,000 crystal
Operation CWAL - Speeds construction of buildings and units
The Gathering - Gives unlimited energy to all casting units
Game over man - Ends your game as a loss
Staying Alive - Prevents the mission from ending due to victory or defeat
There is no cow level - Completes the current mission
Whats mine is mine - Free minerals
Breathe deep - Free Vespene Gas
Something for nothing - Gives all upgrades
Black Sheep Wall - Shows entire map
Medieval man - Free upgrades to units
Modify the phase variance - Ability to build all buildings
War aint what it used to be - Disables fog of war
Food for thought - Ability to build units beyond the support limit
Ophelia - Enter this to enable level skipping cheat. Then enter the mission you want to skip to (i.e., "terran10") to go there. For Brood War levels type x before the levels (i.e., "xterran8")
Radio Free Zerg - Brood War cheat for hidden Zerg Song. Must play as Zerg when using Cheat.
I wonder if anyone else is curious as to what the new codes may be. that's all.
Yea, now that its mentioned I'm kinda curious, but its pales in comparison to wanting the actual game that I don't think about it. Although the codes usually give me a chuckle so when they are released I'll probably enjoy them too.
I remember way back when it was first announced, they typed a cheat code when he got owned by Protoss. Anyone recall what that was exactly? EDIT: This was during the showcase.

Yea it was a demo but I doubt it was a cheat code but most likely a admin command that was made for the very purpose in case that happened.

What a great move and terrible terrible damage need to be cheat codes. I only think a small minority will understand it though... it's not like "all your base are belong to us" where mostly everyone understands the joke

Yeah rofl, that would own.

rofl you only win by doing stupid stuff - leaves game and gains 1 achievement towards Mannerz title. Only works in multiplayer ladder games of level 40+.
One time I was wondering around Seoul with a friend at like 7 in the morning after staying up all night, and we were trying to find a PC bang. We asked two high school girls, and they were like "You starcraft? Show me the money!!!"
They should put in cheat codes that spawn BW units that you normally cant get in a game.
Tornado Terran = Gives you a bunch of Vultures you normally wouldn't be able to get Sparks = Spawns a bunch of Firebats and Medics PLAGUUU = Defiler REEEBAAA = Reaver Stork = Unupgraded Dragoons Divine Wind = A whole bunch of Scourge Insurance = Gives you Scouts Beesuit = Spawns Corsairs Flash = Spawns oldschool Tanks and Goliath with 3/3 ups

You win the thread. Really, Blizz, pls!
edit: I am really hoping that all the BW units will be in the game, even if only on map editor and not in any tech tree... Well, actually I am even hoping for a "classic" game type mode that uses the BW tech trees, with all unit models matching the classic sprites and with all mechanics as close to the original as possible, just a 3D view to it all - ala Project Revolution. But I kinda expect to be disappointed on this one.
I think they should allow an option in melee that would allow for cheat codes to be used, excluding obvious ones like the instant win cheat and god mode cheat. All players have to agree to cheat mode turning on, and then we could have some fun casual shit in multiplayer without needing to bring in hacks
All your bases are belong to us - victory Terrible Terrible damage - God mode I will destroy everyone in 200X ok - skips to level X ppp - defeat Skill-less noobie - 100000 minerals and gas Jaedong vs fantasy - map reveal
AskMeAFaq = no more fog of war. (this would be cool for all the stupid and sometimes useless question that has been asked during all these monthes to designer of sc2 lol)
I wonder if it is possible to have the cheat codes hidden in the code so well that no one can get a complete list and new ones get constantly discovered for a long time in the future.
Madoff me - lose 10,000 resources Hell it's about time - Building construct 10x faster What is a Reaver? - Units on screen slowly loses life My mouse is broken? - Disable automine

Doubt it, even if they try to hide it really well, some bored coder will probably end up finding it a week after it's released. Would be a fun concept though.
plaguu - all units go to 1 health scghost - no cost units/buildings for 5 min then automatic loss if you don't win within those 5 min duranduran - random half of your enemies army dies

Yeah, but they still could be applied with patches I guess.
I figure since even Single Player is connected to B.Net there will most likely not be any, but given how many different levels of AI difficulty we already have, it shouldn't be a concern anyway.
realIDactivated : Instant Victory. AKA opponent shoots himself in the foot then rolls over. ArnoldIsHere : Enable all research. TerribleTerribleDamage seems to be a given. At least it'll be an easter egg somewhere in the campaign.
On July 01 2009 15:20 Gyabo wrote: plaguuuuuu - activates audio file of a Korean commentator screaming "PLAGUUUUUU, YAAAA PLAYGUUU GAAAA!"
My favorite no doubt, if this one isn't in SC2 i will be sad
Iloveoov - Builds units/buildings faster. BisuBuild - Buildings doesn't cost money/you can build anything without proper tech. PowerOutage - Disconnects the enemy AI's and gives you a win. (Tiamat Brood has been dropped.) RealID - Looks up your enemies Facebook information and email.
doyoureallywantchatchannels? -- uninstalls SC2 from your computer, deletes your account, and sends your credit card information and social security number to Activision
On July 02 2009 00:11 Moaf_ wrote: "itsdonewhenitsdone" - Sets the construction time of all units to an unknown amount

"itsdonewhenitsdone" - activision sends u an email telling you when it's done, even it's not, in which case u'll have to produce out of a partially constructed buildings
