Well the way I interpret that quote is as if you know something that "you" in that quote which I interpret as "everybody else but you" don't know. But thanks for the answer.

I actually have some faith in this rumor. Unlike the 11 year anniversary of starcraft's release date rumor, this one actually carries some sort of substance. Blizzard requesting the Bnet accounts of the beta key winners to be sent to them on friday and now a press conference??
We can only wait and see. Does anyone know what time this conference is supposed to be?

That was the most prominent piece of evidence  There's just no denying the change in logos!
But honestly-- I give beta a 10% chance. If that.

Hopefully if the beta does start soon, they let people who were pre-selected (via blizzcon or fansite/journalism or lucky opt-in people) download it before the beta is fully ready so that their servers don't get slammed all at once

That would be really nice, but if you've ever played wow you'd know that Blizzard is awful at this kind of thing.
"regularly scheduled maintenance" on Tuesdays for the wow servers gets extended "unexpectedly" almost every single week, and every patch release is a nightmare.

Atleast they DO something with their games, even if it is notoriously slow at times, take the good with the bad I suppose.
