Larva spawn rate increased from 10.7s to 9s. Queen mineral cost decreased from 175 to 150. Unit warp-in time slowed from 3s (PTR1) to 4s. Transform to Warpgate cost is 25/25 from 50/50 (PTR1). In reality if warp gates are supposed to cost 25/25, then queens should cost 175/25, tech labs 75/50 and reactors 75/75. In fact Protoss produce more warp gates than Queens, tech labs and reactors, so I just don't understand it. And then there's also a nerf to defensive shield battery, hello? Please stop making Protoss hating patches, and let's do weekly tournaments on more balanced patches, thank you. Patches or Greenert mod are probably more balanced than this, they also shake up the game a whole lot more, if that's what you wish for.

Hell yes. That was one of the stupidest most unfortunate changes that were made only because of the constant fuck ups the balance council did with the Raven and then they overreacted. This barely affects pro play, but still makes it a slightly better wall for mech pushes that might have this upgrade. Reverting Queen mineral cost is fine but they need to pair it with Hatch also reverting to 300 minerals. Else keep it the same.

But nope. It took them three weeks just to move an upgrade back from the Gateway to the Cybernetics Core. And now they’re once again suggesting that players mass Queens. Well, I guess my expectations are my own problem.

I figured that if the developers were experimenting with worker counts, they might finally pay attention to some of the other critical issues as well. Maybe they'd rework Queens, or give Zerg a proper T1 anti-air unit. But nope. It took them three weeks just to move an upgrade back from the Gateway to the Cybernetics Core. It's called play testing for a reason, and the game feels pretty good in my experience. If you started your career in lotv you'll probably not like the changes, but much like how we old patch players had to get used to whatever you'd even call this economy in lotv, lotv players will have to get used to low eco.

Queens ~175-200m 50g and orbitals ~75-100m 75-100g with 75m 75g techractors sound rational. As for Zerks; Hydras should just back to T1 with more expensive HDen costs as intended.

Queens shouldn't be easier to make. Let's get hydras back.

We're bringing back auto injects just without the queen? I don't know chief...

For team games you: - wait up to 6 minutes to find a game - get matched unevenly sometimes (e.g. 1 diamond + 1 bronze + 1 silver vs 1 diamond + 2 platinums) - team killers and non-cooperative players don't get punished (there needs to be some sort of feedback that punishes such players), you can get even matched with the same such player 2-3 games in a row and your MMR just tanks Small fixes that can keep casual players playing without touching any of 1vs1 balance.

How are these "small fixes"?

Let's push this to live and then in nine months or so we can enjoy a spirited debate about how large the next hydra buff should be.
