2022-23 ESL Pro Tour - Open Cups: Week #189 (August 21th)

Week #189 of the ESL Open Cups saw Dark win a weekly double on the Korean and American servers, going through a tough gauntlet of Code S caliber players both times.

MaxPax was the victor in Europe, defeating DnS, SKillous, and HeroMarine in the final rounds.

In non-ESL competition, ByuN won KSL #24 by avenging his losses to Dark in the EPT Korea and Americas cups, defeating the DKZ Zerg in the finals. The current 'season' of KSL will soon conclude with the $4,500 Summer Slam event, played during August 31-September 1st.

watched the AM cup Dark vs ByuN, Dark vs Cure games.
man.. fun games!
worth watching if anyone has some free time.
much closer than the result suggests.

Wow, Dark winning 3 cups out of 4? Only ByuN and herO managed to take at least a game off him as well, impressive results!

Dark lost KSL24 to Byun, the text in the writeup is right but the bracket shown is for KSL23 which is last week.
