The final week of ESL Open Cups before Gamers8 saw no changes in the online status quo, with a familiar list of players taking the top spots.
The week started with
herO winning his second Korean server cup in a row, besting fellow Code S players GuMiho, Solar, and ByuN on his way to first place.Next up,
Clem won his second straight European server cup, almost achieving a perfect run in the process (he dropped a single map to ShoWTimE in the RO8). The victory continued a very strong stretch of ESL Open play for Clem, where he's won a server cup in nine out of the last ten weeks.The official ESL weeklies ended with
MaxPax winning the Americas server cup, going through an impressive list of opponents in herO, ByuN, and Solar in the final rounds.In non-ESL weeklies,
