Total prize pool for the summer split alone is ~$80k, without factoring in crowdfunding into WTL.

Wow nice! Is this for WTL or Master Colliseum or both?

I have no idea what this game is, but looking at it, I hope Scboy can find a way to strong-arm tastosis into casting it.

Get HoYo on this right now so my Genshin Impact playtime can support WTL.

The year is 2023. Starcraft 2 is literally only running on Saudi oil money and Chinese gacha games.

don't forget the US AIR FORCE (actually no idea if their sponsorship of live DH events is still applicable to 2023)

I miss the days of simple, honest, match fixing

Exciting news from WTL! Happy to see this announcement!

Fun fact: the name of the CEO of Hypergryph is Huang Yifeng. The duo SCBoys are Huang Xudong (XiaoSe) and Sun Yifeng (F91).
Although there are tons of homophones in Chinese... these characters (Huang and Yifeng) in their names are exactly the same.

Actually a super rough group for Maru, Gumiho has beat him a lot in TvT, Serral usually beats him, and Maxpax has beaten Maru several times recently. I imagine Maru still makes it out easy, but the fact that it's even a question is crazy.
Hoping for a miracle Firefly run, his group isn't so bad, PvP is PvP and his PvZ might be good enough to beat Elazer.

I actually think Maru has a really high chance to not get out of this group. I'd say only Trigger and Showtime are 90% wins, MaxPax and Gumigod are 50/50 and his chance to win vs Serral is 20-30% now in this meta.
I don't know how they decided on thes groups but somehow Group A got the best Zerg, the best Terran and arguably the best (or at least top-2) Protoss in the world.

From a quick view, looks like they placed them according to standings, 1-4 in one group each, 5-8 in next etc, dont know how they selected them if by draw or by points only

Liquipedia notes that Oliveira forfitted his spot for Masters Coliseum, do we know why?
|
Maru needs to show up and show out, no excuse. Hes good enough to beat both Gumiho and MaxPax, by playing with more care and planning. It will be a big day for him, as he will play all 3 Serral-MaxPax-Gumiho on the same day.
Not sure about Oliveira case, but because the tournament is spreader out into many days, and several weeks, he might have a time conflict somewhere along.
