With another WTL Season in the books, we are very likely going to see some contracts ending and players being signed in anticipation of the Winter Season campaign.
You know what that means, right? It's time for WTL Silly Season!
Does Team Rotti enter WTL? Will DPG buy ENCE to collect the final Infinity Stone? Are Onsyde or Basilisk arming themselves for the qualifiers? Let's collect the rumours, the announcements, and everything in between.

Likely the case, probably just will add a 3rd place match for the single elim quali.

It's not exactly a "transfer" but Classic has just joined PREP esport, looks like they'll be serious contender to get back to the WTL!
Also TeamSuper seems to have lost a bunch of players lately, I wonder if Trigger will jump ship, maybe a Future-Trigger team up on AlphaX?
Oh, and while I'm on the subject of NA teams, Nina has joined LTK, not sure how her form latelly, but if she get back to it, there could be some upset potential in the qualifiers from them.

I m not sure how much merir is to it, but it was stated from an industy person related to the chinese scene.
So I gues, they are considering it, but most likely are in early process of negotioations, if it is actually acuarate to begin with

Relying on one single player to allkill the qualification is generally not a good idea. Like PREP with only Has last winter or Dominaticus during the same season with Hellraiser. Recruiting Classic clearly helps, but there's still no high calibre 3rd player in their roster.
I can see Trigger in the main AX team if he comes back, but certainly not Future at his current pace (and if the team sends the Drakes, how it ended in the latest qualifications ...). As for LTK, even worse than PREP.

I think PREP with Has and Classic is better team than any of the teams currently lined-up on the starting block, except for Onsyde obviously, a third player would be welcome, but not necessarily needed. One or two player can definitly hard carry a team, Firefly pretty much got SSLT to the league all by himself last season. For Trigger, I meant as a Drake player, I can't see him getting a spot on the main roaster, but it's all baseless speculation on my part tbh lol.
As for LTK I agree that their current roaster is probably not good enough to qualify, even I Nina ends up playing her best Starcraft, but with her maybe they can take down a team or two.

Depends on how serious Basilisk is and how aggressive Onsyde's recruitment is, expect the NV crop be copped up quickly. Plus KZ will be looking to reinforce after Solar's departure.

I would add Skillous to the list of free agents.
Maybe ENCE, MOUZ and BIG could form a new team as a joint venture to get the trio of Serral, HeRoMaRinE and ShoWTimE into the league? I have something like Axiom-Acer from GSTL in mind.

If I recall correctly, WTL didn't accept collab teams like that, they'd rather have real teams. Which I honestly agree with.

+ some of these players might not be in a hurry to sign up for a team again, and will take time to see who's the best funded and offer the most money, and if that doesn't fit, staying teamless for the time being.

Just heard of Solar's team switch on the Alpha X stream. Onsyde now looks like a title contender for next WTL.

There is a unique tradition in the Chinese-SCII community that fans will cheer on every player who leaves Kaizi Gaming to support them all kill Kaizi Gaming (whether they are Kaizi fans or not).
It's more like a unique blessing to the players (hopefully the players will get better and enjoy the game. And the fans don't actually want the club to be AK).
So come on Solar! AK Kaizi!
Incidentally, Solar is regarded as a warm elder brother in the Chinese community. So everyone in the Chinese community loves Solar (Although they often mention the nuclear incident, and they strictly expect the players they follow to keep performing well : D).

Onsyde signed Neeb AFTER he anounced he ll start studying, so I expect him to still play pretty regularly
Also I suspect, that the chances of signing Creator are rather slim, they allready picked up Solar and I don t expect them to have money for both

i think he quietly retired, he hasn't played the last GSL qualifiers and aligulac doesn't show matches in the last 3 months
