Qualifiers for '2022 GSL Season 2' will be held for two days on May 23rd(Mon) & May 24th(Tue)
Details are as below.
■ Participation requirements
- Must be at least 12 years old
- Need to have a SC2 Battle.net account (cannot use your family's or friends' accounts)
- Masters/Grandmaster league players (Any Region)
■ Qualifiers information
- GSL Qualifiers application period: ~ May 19th(Thu) 23:59 [KST]
- You only need to apply once to participate in both days of the qualifiers
- GSL Qualifiers: May 23rd(Mon) & May 24th(Tue) [KST]
- GSL Qualifiers location: online
- Only players who are in Korea are available to participate in GSL Qualifiers.
- Match schedule for each individual will be sent out via MMS & e-mail to each participant on May 20th(Fri)
■ GSL Qualifiers match format
- Best of 3 / Double Elimination format
- Maps: 1Set 2000 Atmospheres / 2Set Glittering Ashes / 3Set Berlingrad
- Participants who do not qualify on Day 1(23rd), can participate again on Day 2(24th)
- If you do not show up to the 1st day of the Qualifiers without notice, you will be automatically disqualified from the 2nd day
- Participants who acquire prior approval may only participate in the 2nd day of the Qualifiers

Ryung, soo, Dream, Gumiho, DRG, Classic, Armani are the only notable Players not qualified after Day 1.
With 6 more spots tomorrow only one of those will fail to qualify.
Ryung, Dream, Classic and DRG should be the favorites, so I gues one of soO, Gumiho and Armani will not make it.
If it wasn t for Astrea, the qualifiers would be a walk in the park this season already

Any idea whats happening with the last bracket? Nightmare vs KeeN still undecided and Percival and Dream still waiting for them in the next 2 rounds?

maybe it's just a stupidly long match? lol, idk but I'd like to see it

According to a speaker/manager of TeamGGG, Dream felt huge pain on his wrist. He just couldn't stand it so he had to forfeit the game.
So sad....
