Hey everyone,
kiwian has started doing a series of interviews called the Legendary Series where he interviews old legendary pros/people from the SC2 community. He did one with Jinro a few weeks ago and now is going to do one with Aphrodite tomorrow!
He would like any questions to ask her during the interview, so if you have anything you'd want to ask her leave it here
You can watch the interview live on Twitch at ~10am KST tomorrow (in about 20 hours) and it will be uploaded to his YouTube afterwards.

Aphrodite is a legendary pro? She only got attention because the community is thirsty for good looking female players

Are there any plans for Aphrodite to become active again in the pro scene?

Does she regret joining the SC scene in any ways? Why Terran? Are there any reasons she can think of why we have so few women? Both casting and pro playing. Also is there any difference in Korea if a boy wanna follow his progamer dream vs. a girl. (e.g. society tolerates this for boys more than for girls) And the obvious - what is the best moment of her career?

Ask every difficult question possible about how Korea is okay with marketing women in ways that would be considered sexist/inappropriate/tacky in the "West."

How was her transition from starcraft to dota scene, since dota is dead in Korea, all because of Febby? (korean dota pro)

Ah, my old idea...too bad i got old and got family and could not follow up on my first Interviews!
Aphrodite: all of the above about her female perspective on gaming / sc2. Is there one? If so, how does it look?

Does/did she considered herself the second best women in SC2? And/or how aware was she of the other top women in sc2, were there contact or discussion between them?
|
I'm actually curious to hear her perspective on her relationships with other progamers and the e-sport organizations. Did she feel disconnected with the scene because she didn't live in the team house? Was she close to other female progamers? It'd be also nice to hear what she feels nostalgic about when it comes to her progamer career. What was her most memorable series?

Favorite pokemon ?
What is your outlook on the future of starcraft in your opinion? Like will starcraft still be here or will it make a comeback?

He meant febby is what got her into dota2, weird phrasing

If she is still actively following the korean sc2 scene, ask her if she thinks there is a healthy intake of new players into the korean scene. Either that or how she thinks the general interest of sc2 is trending in korea now that broodwar is really coming back, are we still seeing the same sort of support for sc2? Obviously this will have to be before Covid started.

Hum... OK ? How is that not exactly the same thing ?
But anyway.....
Question to her then, Does she thinks man and female leagues should be separated

I coulda phrased it better, but my question was about how it is to compete as a woman in a Korean cultural environment that is much less politically correct than the West in many regards, e.g. implicit acceptance that women's gaming is some kind of sideshow, overt "LOL watch these terrible girls play" themed tournaments in LoL and BW, etc. I feel like there has to be a lot of swallowing of grievances and overcoming the feeling that you're soul-selling to tough it out in that environment . Or maybe those are concerns that only occur to someone on the outside, and people who are actually living there don't give a fuck. Interesting, regardless.
I'm sure skillful interviewer GGemini will figure out a way to broach these sensitive topics in a tactful way
