I hated Rogue when he took the Blizzcon finals from Soo (read: I noticed Rogues power when he did.) Now he finally got his GSL win, too.

Imagine winning a GSL title like this, it's a crowning achievement, a highlight of one's life and a celebration of hard work, and then doing what he did. I can't imagine winning one and then saying "oh yeah I won because Zerg is too strong." It takes a very honorable person to say that. And no one understand how strong Zerg is better than him. This article takes his opinion for granted, takes the immense sacrifice he is making to share his what he believes is right, (which in doing so degrades an achievement he dedicated a chunk of his life to receive) and argues against it. It's frankly disrespectful. I know we don't like to talk about balance here, but this game has some serious issues right now, and these kinds of articles may sway Blizzard from making the changes necessary to fix it. This narrative is wrong.

This narrative is wrong. I'd say that Blizzard doesn't care what anyone thinks but themselves, but they nerfed Protoss when they didn't think it needed it because too many idiots on Twitch screamed P R O T O S S whenever a Protoss player won and put PvZ in such a state that a Zerg GSL champion said he won because of extreme imbalance... This narrative is wrong. I feel like this is a weird takeaway? Miz is arguing that despite Rogue's self-effacing comments, he was 'earning' this victory for years by mastering certain aspects of the game. It's not his fault that the game favors him right now—that's how it's been for many champions across many ages.

I had read it several times, and it made me having some thoughts about it. You certainly earn a trophy yourself. "I feel like this is a weird takeaway?
