does that mean taketv has confirmation from blizzard that the post blizzcon patch will hit before nov 21? (or is that info already public and i missed it?)

nope, I think it means they will play the new patch, even if it is not on the ladder by then
Edit: basically they will host every game with the balance test mod, which would sadly mean no gameheart I think

interesting... so technically there could be a chance of blizzard watching the tournament, changing their mind about something in the patch based on what they see, and reverting/altering it?
it wouldn't be a big deal, but it would be kind of interesting to have a major tournament played on a "fake" patch if it did happen - not in a bad way, more like just an odd trivia item

Nice prize splitting. I'm always a bit put off by other tournaments that have massive (more than double) gaps between first and second place.
