Can this FINALLY be the year that Scarlett makes it to Blizzcon? She’s tied 8th in WCS points currently, giving her a fighting chance as always.

Maybe? But you should start working on drafts of your "ASUS ROG was unfair" post now so you can post it in September, just in case

I don't know about that ASUS ROG thing, but skipping a whole WCS event is not the best way to get to Blizzcon... who knows, maybe she delivers her real level in a WCS event and makes a deep run, maybe she goes out in Ro16 vs an inferior player, maybe she runs into Serral super early again, ...
It's gonna be an interesting event seeing people giving Serral a hard time in Challenger... anyway, anything other than the finnish taking it again would be a surprise.

Never heard of Lemon, but I have to say ButAlways ditching Taiwan to go win the SEA qualifier losing only 2 map is funny as hell + his liquipedia photo is glorious.

I've seen his other ID, MOMOrning, in some online cups before. But beyond that I don't have much of a clue about Lemon either.

Since we're half-way through the season and she has 1390 points at 7th place, I think she probably would want at least another 1500 points (taking into account that Winter offered less points and her probably not attending ASUS ROG) to finish out the season to sit comfortably within qualification range, which means if she gets 2nd place on the final challenger she would have to get either at least 1 second place or a quarterfinal+semifinal finish at the two remaining WCS stops.

Great to see the top players reaffirming dominance. I bit of a bummer that EU is so stacked, definitely some worthy contenders who will need to do it the hard way without paid flights/accom. HeroMarine, Showtime, uThermal etc.

God damn EU Zergs. How bout some diversity for a change?!

I'm not sure how surprised I should be that Future beat TLO. I thought TLO was gonna end up losing to Neeb again.

No matter how many protosses are on the bracket they lose to no matter what who so for me, pointless championship.
I will wait for the meta to stablish i guess. Like the last 8 years

NA needs less and EU needs more slots.
There are so many EU players better than every NA player besides Neeb (and Scarlett on a good day)
4/4 slots is totaly unfair

You are 100% right but I cant really complain. WCS NA is really bad. Being fair, we would need more korean spots..

Sure, and then we can apply this logic on Blizzcon *insert random evil laugh*
