There probably still will be but in the same strength as it is today.
I don't know why ByuN didn't wait for the WCS KR announcement before making that decision.

Lots I could say, but most of it has already been said before...
In late 2016 you may have very well showcased the best micro and unit control this game has ever seen.
I still remember your one interview in GSL where you talked about the bumps on your wrists and how they would start to bleed from the insane amount of practice and training you were putting in, and how that made you feel good knowing nothing less would take you to the top.
We will miss you ByuN. Thank-you for so many fond memories.

He is coming back after military ends right? He'll probably try if there's still a pro scene. Wouldn't hope for anything though.
released in 2010, not sure about pro scene xD
BW released in 1999, pro scene still active. wc3 released in 2004, pro scene still active.

Wish the legend would still be a legend after getting back. And herO announced in his streaming that he'll keep on playing in 2019

nooooooo I'm so sad! Poor ByuN! I hope he returns after and is really good!

Well, new RTS arrived. We will see if Blizzard will make another of this genre which I find impossible. WC3's peak is around 5k players, with reforged announced, and sc2 had nearly 200k last season. I doubt sc2 will shut down anytime soon.

I know he is no longer in his top form but he is still a fan-favorite player. I guess he is 25 so he wants to get it over with. I expect herO, Zest, soO and sOs will follow soon. Hopefully they will stick around for 2019 before heading to military service.
Best of luck to ByuN. We haven't seen him anyway. he was one of the many players shaded by the dominating korean elite.

BEST TERRAN IN MY HEART ! ByuN!SEE YOU!

It is sad for the e-sport scene, Byun will miss a lot. Rather he was not in top shape for the last two years. I guess he was bit overshadowed by other top-terrans in Korea. I remember that I almost cried when he defeated sOs in Code S finals who is one of my favorite players, but I was shocked by the big history change of the teamless one man army. And oh, boy... back those days Byun was like young Dear for a few months - GOD, he even surpassed Dear cause he got the Blizzcon. I wish him luck to this really nice guy! Always charming interviews!

https://www.twitch.tv/byunprime today is his last stream..... hide from your kids hide from your wife i don't care but you guys gotta turn in his stream right now!

omg he is still streaming, for at least 20 hours?
|
I hope he can handle it when the military forces him to shower
|
25hour 40min stream. It's insane. Be safe, stay healthy. Good luck ByuN. See you in 2020.
