sOs, a champion who has won WCS Global Finals twice.
INnoVation, a two-time champion of GSL and GSL vs. the World.
A top Protoss player, sOs, will go against a career Terran player, INnoVation, at the last season of GSL

I wish I could witness sOs to be the first grand slam SC2 player on the scene.

I predict that the FreecUP Studio will not gonna be full, even this event is free.
This is incomprehensible, in Europe nothing is free, it is doubly unpleasant to see bad halls at Korean events.
Koreans do not appreciate everything they are given.

If sOs wins, he'll go to the WCS gobal Finals, which blows my mind. Overall, 2017 was a failure year for him. And still, his chances to adavance to the main event is high

that's a bit of an abstraction don't you think?
nobody appreciates absolutely everything out there.
do you appreciate that you have arms and legs as much as you should?
even as a fan of the game, on a given day i could be more committed doing something i set out to do and tune into the VODs later to get up to speed. it being free or not doesn't make or break that decision. it is not like every korean can make that travel to the studio no problem and they also have to commit extra time on top of just attending and travelling to and from.

Innovation did a great job of switching up his playstyle versus Dark.
I actually don't know how you can prepare for sOs though. Playing it safe, plays right into his hands and taking risks increases the chances of being hit at odd timings.
In the end, i feel like Innovation will take it. 4-2

Ooh I feel nerves are a factor which suits protoss play very well.
I don't think inno have those nerves partly because he's already won titles and does not have that extra pressure on him.
It would surprise me if sOs take more than one game.

But then I look at SSL and Innovation went 0-2 vs classic and stats, 1-2 vs dear and suddenly I'm not that sure anymore.

It's too bad the Europeans don't consistently show the same level of skill in their play, you wouldn't need to watch Korean events with empty studios in a country with a "generally ungrateful" population.
