sOs said in the semi interview that he is waiting for Bogus in the final, Bogus said he wants to face sOs in the Ro.8 two weeks ago. Then just let this SC2 version of "fight of the century" happen again and I'm so ready right now. Its PPV might be higher than Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

"Since I've already lost a lot of games lately against INnoVation, I really want to get my revenge and beat him. That would be nice. I don't know if I can do it though..."

He said it would be nice if he won, but his chances are meh. Not sure if honest or just Korean things.

Love sos. Good for him. His strategies are a lot of fun to watch. He really is a true genius.

There starts the sOs hype train...let's just hope it lasts longer than the one of Rogue.
Crazy builds are powerful in PvP but sOs will need much more than that to take down a non-Protoss player

Is no one writing for TL anymore? These game recaps are super poor and luckluster.

These games are surprisingly similar to my Diamond ladder PvP experience so what do you expect?

I'm glad that sOs and Stats finally reach Diamond league Protoss level.

No offense but DT rush, proxy stargate into 3SG phoenix war, fast immortal push and proxy robo are truly a great deal of my ladder experience

Mr. esports writer, for game 4 details can you please include the single high templar in the warp prism used to feedback the mothership right before the fight and include that in the clip as well? That was honestly the sexiest and most deliberate move I have seen all season, maybe year. What a game.

Absolutely agree on this. The best moment of the whole series. And I must say I was not surprised by the outcome of that match. Stats has guaranteed spot at BlizzCon and already won GSL this year, maybe he just focus on a SSL title, since he doesn't have one yet. Or made a bet againt himself But either of that is or is not true - sOs was on fucking fire. Gotta love that guy when his BS and mind games work, it seems like he's a pure genius. Also, it is an odd year, so it must be pretty clear to anyone that sOs is on his way to win another BlizzCon, right? But srsly, if he could pull off a BlizzCon win after a GSL victory this year, there would be no more debate about SC2 bonjwa - three times world champion and most earnings from SC2 ever

sOs games seem to always include a lot of mistakes from both players. I don't think that the games of sOs are impressive by themselves, but taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture changes this. Stats seldom makes mistakes, but vs sOs he does.
I find it hard to predict the outcome when sOs is playing. All I hope for is that sOs will keep his "win every attended Blizzcon". It would be fun if he also kept winning every odd year, i.e. 2013, 2015 etc.
On the other hand, I want to see more games from not sOs at Blizzcon. sOs games have a different quality than other games.

the only open question - will the massacre be worse than inno vs soo?

sos is no soulkey he's not gonna get that reverse sweep

Every sign points to it being pure carnage...the only sOs pro sign is that it's and odd year

Well, even though I agree that in the possible event of innovation vs sOs, the latter is a heavy underdog but I wouldn't say that "everything points to it being a carnage".
Innovation did lose in SSL to all 3 Protosses and has under 50% winrate in TvP in last month. Maybe it is just a small fluctuation in his form but it also may mean he did slip and bit in this matchup. He did repair his TvT maybe at the cost of practicing less of TvP?

GSL rewards 3 times the monney than SSL in Final I think... so I can't see Stats focusing more on SSL (also he don't even know if he'll face a toss or a zerg in ssl

Four times actually.

GSL: $35,656, ₩ 40,000,000, 4000 WCS Points
SSL: $8,860, ₩ 10,000,000, 1500 WCS Points

Maybe it's not about money for him, maybe he just wants to complete his collection of trophies But anyone can lose to sOs, that guy is unpredictable as hell. He is able to perform absolute fantastically and absolute bronze the day after. And Stats already had some downs in his form this year. Point is, that there could be numerous different factors why did Stats lose.

Last note - if it all was about money for him, the easiest way to get some is to bet against himself. I know that matchfixing is not a popular theme, but considering "money profit above all else" scenario, imagine that you are 100 % guaranteed BlizzCon attendee, you already won GSL this year and bets are heavily in your favor on that match. Why simply not to bet against yourself, especially when you can always defend yourself with "I played against known cheeser and trickster that caught me off guard"? Easy money. But I'm not saying that Stats did any of these, of course. My opinion is that he just lost to non standard play which is his commonly known weakness.

Same lol. Of course it isn't just about monney all the time. Staying out of jail is also quite important.

That's quite unfair. And I don't mean in terms of money, but WCS points. Winning a league (albeit with playoffs) is definitely harder than a knockout competition, and more reflective of skill. Random variables like bracket luck are reduced, consistency of form is rewarded.
