I find it hard to predict the outcome when sOs is playing. All I hope for is that sOs will keep his "win every attended Blizzcon". It would be fun if he also kept winning every odd year, i.e. 2013, 2015 etc. On the other hand, I want to see more games from not sOs at Blizzcon. sOs games have a different quality than other games. | ||

Innovation did lose in SSL to all 3 Protosses and has under 50% winrate in TvP in last month. Maybe it is just a small fluctuation in his form but it also may mean he did slip and bit in this matchup. He did repair his TvT maybe at the cost of practicing less of TvP? | ||

GSL rewards 3 times the monney than SSL in Final I think... so I can't see Stats focusing more on SSL (also he don't even know if he'll face a toss or a zerg in ssl | ||

I know that matchfixing is not a popular theme, but considering "money profit above all else" scenario, imagine that you are 100 % guaranteed BlizzCon attendee, you already won GSL this year and bets are heavily in your favor on that match. Why simply not to bet against yourself, especially when you can always defend yourself with "I played against known cheeser and trickster that caught me off guard"? Easy money. But I'm not saying that Stats did any of these, of course. My opinion is that he just lost to non standard play which is his commonly known weakness. | ||

And I don't mean in terms of money, but WCS points. Winning a league (albeit with playoffs) is definitely harder than a knockout competition, and more reflective of skill. Random variables like bracket luck are reduced, consistency of form is rewarded. | ||
